Social Profile:

Le Bistro Du Village was established in 1997 by husband and wife team Mustapha and Donna Snoussi. They had just relocated to Baltimore after living in Paris, France and began their first business by opening an upscale kiosk in the outside atrium of The Village of Cross Keys where they sold crêpes, panini, salads and more. The business was a success and they had acquired the clientele needed which would later support them in the opening of their Mt. Washington restaurant in 2000. The restaurant has expanded with the opening of an all year round heated terrace. Le Bistro Du Village has been part of the Zagat restaurant guide since 2003 where they describe dining on the terrace on a long summer evening as almost feeling like Paris.

Quaint French bistro in a vibrantly colored row house features an array of sweet & savory crêpes.

We have had dinner and brunch here and it has been excellent each time. Our first visit years ago was with our toddler; the staff was incredibly accommodating and even brought our daughter a bowl of ice cream for dessert. This is a Baltimore gem that has struggled since the pandemic. Please go give them a try!!

This place is a hidden gem. The food is incredible and the prices are reasonable for the quality. For our appetizer, we ordered the escargot. While the presentation left a bit to be desired, the food itself was very good. The bread that comes with it was perfect.

French onion soup, lentil soup, steak fritas, crepe florentine and a creme Brule and it was all delicious. I wish more people would come here. The owner was super kind and we will definitely be going back for date nights. Support small businesses!

This was my first time trying French food in my life. The place was empty when I arrived it was 8:00 PM, and the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM. I thought people around this area are very healthy to the point that they don’t eat dinner after 8. The service was great and the place was clean but the food was terrible.I ordered fried calamari, seafood pasta and another order from restaurants week which was 3 courses chilled crab soup, main course was lamb chops and chocolate cake for dessert. The fried calamari was very good, the seafood pasta was very good too except the muscles in the pasta were tasting old and tastes like water tank I think it was very old. The chilled soup was disgusting and the lamb was tasteless. The bill came and it was $95 , it was way too expensive for the food that we received and the portions were not that big. Except the pasta was filled with seafood I have to give them a credit for that. After I finished dinner I found out why the place was empty. Never again.

Ordered takeout using the restaurant-provided GrubHub option in the Google Business Profile. Arrived only to find out that the owner doesn’t want to deal with GrubHub, so he didn’t make the order and offered no help. Extremely rude. 0/10 do not recommend.

Food was mediocre, our waiter was super nice (I believe Rita). However there were some men also assisting, I believe the owners. These guys were rude. Food was slow, we assumed there was one cook in the kitchen.
