Lazy Pete’s is one of my favorites in Little Rock. It’s a very unassuming, hole in the wall kind of place in a small strip mall. My wife and I split the crawfish po-boy (it’s easily big enough for two). She got the hand cut fries and I got the red beans and rice with a side piece of catfish. I’ve eaten here for years. Everything I’ve tried is EXCELLENT. Possibly the best fried catfish in central AR. Some of my other favorites are gumbo, soaked salad, and shrimp n grits. Very casual atmosphere. Order at the counter, pick your own seat, make your own drink, and wait for them to call out your order number.

Great food. Shrimp and grits is my favorite, but the fish and fried shrimp was fantastic as well. Definitely wasn’t disappointed.

Love seafood? These folks know how to cook it perfectly. The oysters were succulent and perfectly seasoned and the calamari and catfish were equally well prepared and tasty. Good sized portions. Mayonnaise coleslaw and crispy fries completed our meal.

Great place… very pleasant surprise while visiting Little Rock. Pleased with each part of my meal. Fried catfish was done just right and tasted great. Slaw was good. Not too much sauce even. good hush puppies… what’s not to love. Kudos to the kitchen crew. Good work and very friendly.

The fish tasted weird, no seasoning on fish at all! Fries were good. Short nappy headed Cook had an attitude while calling out my order. The guy at the register was on his phone while I stood there waiting to be serviced. I will never go back! I use to love their food but all them black cooks and the food tastes horrible.

Stopped in just to try a couple of items friends had recommended. I went with the shrimp and grits and also purchased fried calamari. Y’all…I made the mistake of tasting the calamari in the car. I almost ate the entire order. It’s so fresh & the seasoning is better than Macaroni Grill’s recipe. Now the shrimp & grits was a whole experience all by itself. There were subtle cheesy notes and the plump shrimp were cooked to perfection. The coup de grasse was the crumbled bacon that surprises you with flavorful crunchiness. My kids were hovering around me humming that they’d like one more bite. I thought y’all didn’t like grits?! My only recommendation is to put your to go containers on the floorboard of your vehicle. If you set it in the seat, butter could run into the bag during transport. Happy eating!

Well how do we start. Ordered some fish and wings for a whopping $32.00, no big deal, I’ll pay for good food. The wings were half breaded and half naked, and looked like a dog with the mange. Somehow they managed to dry the wings out to the texture of beef jerky with lemon pepper flavoring. On to the fish, if you were to close your eyes and imagine eating a fish fresh out of water with the scales on, it would’ve tasted better than the fried fish they offer. The fries looked like Lo Mein because they were so soggy and the hush puppies tasted like atmosphere. The Hawaiian punch out the drink machine was sweet enough to bring a diabetic out of a coma, I felt like a drug dealer cutting it with water because it was so pure. I thought about giving the rest to my dogs, but I fear humane services would consider that animal abuse. Overall you would’ve been better off getting a 4 for 4 at wendys.

We read the reviews before ordering so we were pretty excited to try them. Especially coming from Louisiana and hurricane Ida..we wanted something familiar.

We used to love this place. I don’t know if they’ve sold. Waited over 30 minutes for an order and when we asked about the order the gentleman ( and I use the term loosely) in the kitchen said “No it’s not ready, we busy”. Multiple people came in after us ordered and were served before us. Very rude treatment.

Should have turned around as soon as I got inside as this dive had an overall greasy feel to it from the walls to the floor. Service was less than friendly. The oil used to cook the catfish had that “too old” taste to it. The fries were practically dripping in it. The most disappointing experience that I’ve had at any catfish restaurant in town. Definitely skip this place.
