I miss the chicken planks. Long Johns is not my favorite seafood place but it sure did hit the spot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was hot and fresh. Location could use some repair. Parking not had a lot of potholes. But the staff was working hard serving hot and fresh food. Helps make up for a bump

We have stopped here the last 3 weekends in a row because we love Long John’s. This time it was around 9:30pm. We get the same thing every time; an 8 piece (4 fish 4 chicken) and an order of hushpuppies. Hushpuppies weren’t bad but all the fish and chicken were old and dried out. We’re talking like petrified old and dried out. Sad that you should have to do it, but I’ll be checking my order every time if I even decide to eat here ever again.

This experience was excellent. Used the drive thru, it was about a half hour before closing time for them. Was greeted promptly, placed my order, and drove up to the window. Cashier was friendly, gave me my drink while I waited for my food. Not long but I could tell it was hot and fresh- exactly like everyone would want to get their meal. I would go here again and again.

The wait was long but our order was correct and hot, the employees were friendly and all of them working hard. They had a full dining room and a few people in the drive thru.

I went through the drive thru and on the window it stated they only allow you two sauce packets. It is an additional 50 cents for each packet. Then I get home and the meal was half the size of what it used to be. The chicken was SO small. So ridiculous. I won’t be coming back.
