We are a no frills lunch only BBQ shack located on the east side of Spring Lake (as you drive into town from Grand Rapids). Order bbq by weight or get a sandwich. We are proud to offer house made sausage, house made sauces and sides. Pickup, dine outside when it’s not freezing or, one day, eat in at one of our three indoor tables.

Love the bare bones smoking place. All wood smoke. Everything is super tasty. Texas style. We’ve now had everything they make. Cannot say enough on what a treat it is to stop here for lunch!!! But wait, Thursday is now nacho day and most Fridays are rib days. Slowly expanding menu and everything is still super delicious. Only open for lunch. Want the best choices, get there early as they do sell out.

Best BBQ on the Lakeshore! We enjoyed everything in our 3 Meat Platter but the big winner was the sausage. Pork and Brisket were great too! Carolina Mustard and Sriracha Honey sauces went well with everything and the beans and Slaw were classicly flavored and went perfect with the meats. We will be back for more! Definitely try this place out for lunch.

today I stopped to grab some lunch…. I have been in the food business my whole life, the past 5 years restaurant supply specifically so I don’t wanna brag but I know a thing or two about BBQ… I judge every BBQ place on there Brisket so I got the Brisket sandwich. This was hands down the best whole slice brisket I have ever had, beautiful smoke ring, juice, tender and flavor ful, exactly how brisket should be. The sausage was just spicy enough with excellent smoke flavor. Sides were delicious, mustard based potato salad with huge chunks of just hard enough potatoes. Beans were not drenched in sauce… What a great Lil hidden gem, I will definitely be back…
