Everything we ate was amazing!! Even my non-gluten free sister agreed it was just as good as any non GF fish she’s had. The dessert bars were surprisingly good as well. I’m so sad I’m not local to Vegas otherwise I’d eat here all the time!

As soon as I found this gluten-free fish & chips place, I HAD to go. It has been many, many years since I’ve had them. I had the cod & they were perfect! I could have eaten the batter by itself. The fries were also good. Every item is GF except hush puppies & pita bread. They also sell gyros, shawarma, falafel, etc. If you are allergic or sensitive to gluten, this is a place for you to try!!!

It wasn’t the best catfish, but it was good. I just think the portions we’re small for the price and the batter could’ve had more flavor.

UPDATE: It was obvious right away that this place has changed hands; management, if not ownership. We were still served sliced carrots and celery with ranch dressing before our dine-in meal. Unfortunately, the server failed to let us know that the Dr. Pepper we ordered was only available in cans, even though they had a soda fountain. Apparently, it doesn’t really matter, because they charged us for soda fountain refills, anyway. They used to not do that. They also used to implement a stamp card for free meals after 10 visits, but they have also done away with that. The catfish was not near as good as it used to be. The shrimp was overcooked. The coleslaw and flan were real good, as was most of the other fish. The scallops were real good. The mushrooms were just okay, and they were sliced in half; so you’re actually only getting half as many mushrooms as you ordered. They used to not do that. For $2 more, you can substitute your french fries for one of their cheaper appetizer items. Their iced tea was very good. The french fries could have been cooked more. Overall, service was spotty because the same person taking orders was the same person preparing the food, which was also the same person answering the phones, etc. This restaurant used to be a lot better. It’s no longer worth the drive all the way across town.

Can’t believe I haven’t done this review yet. The food was absolutely amazing the gluten free fact was a bonus. Everything tasted fresh like it was just caught from the river that morning. The coleslaw had a sweet taste to it that made it much better than what I typically get. The dessert was tiny but packed with flavor. And the best of all was the customer service we received from Veronica. She made sure that our drinks were topped off and that any unneeded mess was cleared from the table. The food is fair priced and I can’t wait to go back already.

Had the Chicken Fingers w/fries and the Mushrooms with Ranch for the 1st time today and everything was sooo good! Super juicy tender chicken inside and a lovely crispy outside. The mushrooms tasted Amaze zen! The breading was not only immensely flavorful but it held together super well! The fries were incredible and the Ranch had a homemade flavor to it and very delightful. Can’t wait to visit the spot to sit and try the fried fish!

Got in late on a Saturday night, but Anna still took great care of us. She was very knowledgeable about gluten and celiac and knew exactly what we could and could not eat. I’m happy to say most of the menu was gluten free and safe for celiacs. We tried the fish and chips (haddock as they were out of cod) and both the fish and the fries were the best thing we had. Second best was the onion rings, then the calamari. I’m not a big mushroom fan but my husband liked them. Lots of gf sauces like cocktail sauce, ranch, tartar sauce, and marinara. Got confirmation that they had a separate fryer for the hush puppies – which are not gluten free. Worth the trip from the Strip – about 22 minutes mostly freeway. Pictures show the extensive gf menu(3 pix) and the small non-gf menu(1).

Had the best experience at Lazy Joe’s! I have celiac disease and was so excited that they not only have gluten free fish and chips but breaded shrimp too! And it was all very good quality seafood. Veronica was very helpful with the menu and pleasant to talk to. All the desserts were good, but the cheesecake brownie was my favorite.
