Had a very enjoyable 8 course tasting with wine pairings that were excellent with each course. It was great to sit in the chef’s seating and watch the preparation and plating of the presentations, as the dishes were each tastefully designed and artfully presented. Surprisingly, as a die-hard meat lover, my favorite was the asparagus dish. The added truffle risotto course was also exceptional. I enjoyed the urban chic atmosphere and highly recommend Lazy Betty with plans to return in the near future.

Lazy Betty is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. We try to go at least 2 times per year. The menu changes once per quarter with special menus on days like Mother’s Day for brunch.

Wanted to love this place #local #independents but just couldn’t. It hasn’t quite hit the flavor for cost point. Lots of distinct elements in each dish but few cohesive bites. And some parts that were misses. For example the tile fish – my piece wasn’t well trimmed and was unpleasant to eat. The one clam on the side was superfluous and didn’t tie into the dish except that both were seafood. Some dish temperatures seemed off. Service was amazing. Excellent enthusiastic staff. The dishes just aren’t there yet.

The dishes are there!!! With produce up there on the standards of restaurants in Tokyo, this place was quite impressive. Even the small portion of asparagus was worth the price, considering its’ flavors were on several levels. And, the whiskey list was affordable.

Lovely fine dining restaurant with an interesting tasting menu. The cocktails were well done and complimented the food nicely. This is one of the best fine dining options in ATL.

Amazing dining experience. 7 course tasting menu is more like 10 courses and each different and each delicious. All of them unexpected. Highly recommend for any special occasions. Really glad we made this one of our meals for our weekend trip to Atlanta.

Gastronomy in our home town — the amazing Lazy Betty. New spring menu. Bright tastes, creative twists, perfect service. Four sample pix from the seven-course (plus amuses, plus mignardises) menu.

The service was outstanding. But I enjoyed most of the bites that I received. Wasn’t too keen on medium duck! Some of the scallops taste fishy and I did not like that. This is a pricey meal so don’t expect big portions because it is a 7-course meal unless you add more. If they gave you bigger portions you would not be able to eat all seven courses. Very nice ambience, did not really care for the location. All-in-all great experience, tried a new restaurant.

Once in a while, I like to enjoy a unique meal experience I cannot possibly recreate at home. Our dinner at Lazy Betty was one of these. If it were located in one of the cities where the Michelin crew reviews restaurants, it would deserve at the very least one Michelin star and maybe more… Creativity, quality of ingredients, mastery of techniques, harmony of flavors, presentation, it’s all there… Flawless service as well. A truly sublime 8 course tasting menu! Descriptions are included with my photos. I highly recommend it to my fellow foodies!

10/10 THE COOLEST dining experience my husband and I have ever experienced! The vibe is amazing – it’s cozy and comfortable, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and everyone pitches in so it’s very family style. The food is absolutely to die for – it’s extremely creative, the flow to the flavors is beautifully curated, the presentation is pristine, and the flavor is unmatched. You’re savoring every bite. Lazy Betty is a gem in Atlanta. It’s a treat but boy is it worth it!!! Such a fun way to celebrate and enjoy a meal together!! Thank you Lazy Betty for a perfect evening!!
