Jordan is a total gem. We had a large birthday party of 12 tonight, including three kiddos under the age of three. Jordan was incredibly patient, attentive, and kind. In addition, he gave us some wonderful wine and cocktail recommendations. The food and drinks were phenomenal. Our dinner was delicious but I felt like Jordan really went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. Thankful!!

Incredible food, and quick, attentive, friendly service! The restaurant is romantically lit with candles and dim lighting, and the food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My husband and I went for our tenth anniversary for dinner, and had the pomme frites, filet mignon and potato purée, ribeye with potato pave, bone marrow, apple miso butterscotch cake with sour cream gelato, and a chocolate chip hazelnut cookie. Everything was absolutely delicious—the best filet mignon I’ve had. Melt-in-your-mouth tender with a nice char on the outside, seasoned well, and complemented beautifully with a sauce and the smoothest, creamiest, and airy potato purée (mashed potatoes). The ribeye was flavorful, with a good amount of fat (not too much), and went very well with the slightly spicy sauce. We had both steaks cooked medium rare. The garlic aioli that came with the fragrant pomme frites (French fries) was flavorful and aromatic, and quite addicting. The kind waitress brought us more when she realized how much we liked the aioli. The apple miso butterscotch cake had a delightful sweetness, which wasn’t too much and had a level of saltiness from the miso that was a very nice touch. The sour cream gelato had a great smoothness and tangy taste that made the whole dessert very refreshing. The cookie was also tasty, but I wish it was warm. The bone marrow wasn’t bad—I imagine it’d be better with bread. I don’t think it added much to the flavor of the steaks, which were so rich and tender and flavorful already. It was fun to experience regardless. I was pretty sad when the food was all gone! I would definitely go again, but due to the prices, it would most likely have to be reserved only for special occasions. We spent $191 (including a 20% tip, rounded up to the nearest dollar).

Everything about the dinner at laurelhurst market was exceptional. The service was amazing! Everything came out perfectly cooked and it was perfectly timed. We had the mushrooms and the cornbread for appetizers. My spouse had the new York while I opted for the wagyu flank steak. I would gladly have all of those dishes again. Please go here!

Such a great restaurant, esp for a special occasion! Perfectly cooked and seasoned steak, every time, and always paired with interesting flavors and textures. This is not your basic steakhouse. Excellent cocktails and wine selection. Great, helpful service. Highly recommend!

It had been a long time since I had visited and I was surprised to see a large, nice patio. They used to only have outside seating along the wall so we had asked for indoor seating for our reservation, but when we arrived, we found a nice patio and asked to be changed to that table. The butcher’s steaks were fresh, the meat was tender and very tasty, so we really hadn’t been here in 5 years after covid-19 settled down. We had the beef tartare, mac and cheese, grilled zucchini, and Brandt Ranch Ribeye. The servers were attentive and courteous, the patio had a high ceiling, and the atmosphere was very nice. Seating is so popular that the restaurant fills up quickly both inside and out, so reservations are recommended when visiting.

I went here today to pick up some steaks. They are the only high end butcher I know of in the area. Got there at 10 right when they opened and the staff was cheery and welcoming. The gentleman behind the butcher counter was working and asked if I needed help. I told him I was looking for steaks. He was very helpful and told me they have more in the back that he hasn’t finished prepping but if it’s something I want then he would be glad to do it. I opted for 3 of their dry aged bone in NY strips. The butcher said they dry age them minimum 21 days. I liked that they were cut thick like they should be (about an inch thick).

Fun atmosphere, plenty of covered outdoor seating. Indoor seating area is nice, has a bar with seating too. Would choose outside seating next time.
