Fantastic dinner in Spring branch at Lutui. We had the filet mignon, the pizza ,the mussels which were delicious and the two dip appetizer plate service was fantastic. Drinks were great. The only reason for the four stars instead of the five stars is that with the dip plate we had potato chips and three small crackers , we asked for a couple more crackers which we did receive, but they charge us $4 for three small additional crackers with a bill of over $200 and relatively good food and great service. They should include more crackers instead of chips for the dip that way they wouldn’t have have to charge customers a nominal fee on top of the original charge. Just a thought , overall I would return our waitress was great. The food was fantastic and overall a great place in spring branch for dinner.
Oh one last comment there is a valet charge of $8 UDD after 4 PM for parking at the restaurant which is a bit odd and spring branch.

The service and the interior of this restaurant were both excellent! Unfortunately, the food was just not impressive and a bit bland.

Our server was on top of everything and took his time explaining the menu. He made sure we always had what we needed, and the restaurant staff were all attentive! Again, great service.

Our table ordered the New York Strip, the Carpaccio, the Double Dip, half a dozen Oysters, two Pizza Pescatore, two seared Snappers. All yummy but for the same price we could’ve had a better meal somewhere else. Especially for our important celebration.

We went to Latuli for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. We went on that Friday at 5 pm to beat the Valentine’s Day frenzy expected on Saturday. My husband had been talking about this place for months, driving by, etc. So this was a good time to try it. As we have been blessed to dine in many places in the world, Latuli felt like being back in Spain or even Portugal with its Mediterranean decor and asthetics. I loved the oversized planters and use of natural materials (stone and natural woods, leather). Beautifully appointed and designed. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time and could not spend as much time as we should have to really relax and get a feel of the flow. Even so, we were there long enough to experience their attentive service, and well prepared meal selections. My Grouper was delicious (tender and bouncy on the tongue and cheek) and rested on collard greens cooked perfectly tender, but not mushy and the flavors of the “pot liquor” (if you grew up eating greens in the south, you know what this is) had a delicious bacon infused flavor. However, I would suggest excluding it because you need to rest your fish at the base of the greens to cut it and the pot liquor will make the fish soggy. So I had to carefully keep my Grouper on top of the greens. Bread service is amazing delicious with yeast rolls, jalapeño jelly, an infused butter whip and a small skillet delicious corn bread. Beware, they are not stingy with their servings as some restaurants in this category are. We realized immediately after ordering the Bread Service and the shareable Tomatoe Salad that we only need one of these to start our meal. Lastly, my husband is still saying that his snapper was the best he had eaten. We didn’t have time to stay for dessert, but we hope to visit again soon.

Finally got to come to this new Houston Hot restaurant! I was greeted very politely by the hostess on a Thursday evening with no reservation and was able to get a table immediately on the patio. Heysee was my server and was excellent! Top notch customer service – she provided me with great recommendations, both food and drink, and was very knowledgeable on all of the offerings. I started with a half dozen of the oysters which were Gulf, but the good kind from 100 miles of shore! Great size and flavor. For my entree, I had the Grilled Flat Iron, cooked rare of course! It came out absolutely perfect. Very flavorful with a nice outside crust and cool pink interior! The bed of arugula and mushrooms was super good as well. I could eat an entire bowl of those mushrooms. The manager Jordan also came out to check on me and had great conversation. That’s always appreciated!

When I arrived, they just began dinner service and there were too many people at the time, and by the time I left, it was hopping! Great energy throughout the restaurant. The aesthetic is very clean and luxury, yet very comfortable. The patio was very relaxing and had great ambiance with the decor and lighting!

Also, other servers that weren’t even assigned to me still came by and asked if everything was going well. The bartenders Ernesto and Elmo’s were great too! The entire staff was very attentive and kind my entire visit.

Overall incredible experience and I left with a satisfied and full belly! Will be returning asap.

First off, the ambiance is beautiful—I’d love to have a patio like that in my own backyard. We went for a late lunch, so it wasn’t too busy, which made for a relaxing experience. The cocktail list has a great mix of house specialties and classics. I ordered a mezcal-based cocktail that was perfectly balanced, with a simple yet elegant garnish.

For appetizers, we tried the oysters and the watermelon salad. I was hesitant about the watermelon since it’s not in season, but it turned out to be delicious—light and refreshing with olive oil, flake salt, and goat cheese. The oyster dish was also a standout.

For our mains, we had the chicken and hummus, which was tasty but came with a very small portion of pita—adding another strip or two per guest would make it perfect. We also tried the wild boar ragu, which was good but could’ve used a touch more seasoning, maybe some fresh Parmesan, salt, and red pepper flakes to bring it to life.

Overall, I’d definitely say it’s worth a visit. The only downside was the hostess, who seemed distracted and unwelcoming when we arrived—she was on her phone and didn’t greet us with a smile. As the first impression of the restaurant, that’s an easy area for improvement.

Great experience dining, the valet was fully booked, very happening crowd, was excited tp see menu. The steak was okay, it actually tasted better the next day, it was the flat iron with mushrooms, nice flavor. What I really loved was the Marrow Fries, do yourself a favor and get these. The dip of pimento was interesting, I would get the snapper or other seafood next time. Bathrooms had waterworks fixtures in brass with lagoon tile, really pretty.

From the moment we arrived Emily greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcomed. She mentioned the kitchen closes at 11 so we had plenty of time to enjoy the evening. Our waitress, Hannah, made our evening. She was knowledgeable of the menus and was able to provide recommendations. She was very personable and has a great personality. I appreciate great service and she was exceptional. The food and drink menus were very well put together, I left knowing that I will be back to try other items I saw on the menus. My wife and I had a great date night, the ambiance, food, drinks, and service were first class. We also loved the decor of the restaurant, the Christmas trees give the restaurant such a festive vibe.

Dining at Latuli was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious—the shrimp spring rolls were some of the freshest shrimp I’ve ever tasted, light yet full of flavor. The pork chop was perfectly cooked, tender, and satisfying. The cocktails were equally impressive, thoughtfully crafted and balanced, clearly made with intention and creativity. It was my birthday, the evening felt especially elevated when our table was welcomed with champagne upon arrival, a gracious and memorable touch. An elegant atmosphere paired with outstanding food and service made this a celebration I won’t soon forget.

We chose Latuli for our anniversary and were warmly welcomed at the front, which made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, the experience gradually lost momentum as the evening went on.

The drinks were well made, but service throughout the night was noticeably slow. The ahi tuna appetizer was underwhelming — just tuna and purée, without chips or any accompaniment to enjoy it with. It felt incomplete.

We were dining with our son (thankfully he’s patient) and specifically confirmed with our server that he wanted cheese on his sliders and that we wanted all of our food to come out at the same time. Despite that, chicken tenders arrived before anything else. We explained that we had ordered sliders and sent them back. The tenders came out again — this time cut in half and placed on slider buns — and we had to send them back a second time before his actual sliders were prepared and delivered. Our entrées arrived shortly after.

We did speak with the manager, who was very kind and sent over Prosecco in honor of our anniversary, which we appreciated. The food overall was okay, and the chocolate cake for dessert was enjoyable.

By the end of the evening, the service delays were consistent enough to impact the overall experience. The final bill was around $300. While we were happy to celebrate the occasion, the pacing and execution didn’t quite match the level we expected.

Overall, 2/5. I’ve had better experiences here at lunch and would likely return in that setting rather than for dinner. They charged for everything, including the prosecco the manager brought over.

We had an incredible experience at Latuli, thanks to Alexis! She was absolutely outstanding from start to finish — knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Alexis took the time to walk us through each section, explaining ingredients and preparation in detail, and her recommendations were spot-on. Every dish she suggested was delicious and perfectly suited to our tastes. It’s rare to come across someone so skilled and attentive — she truly elevated the entire dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for Alexis again!
