Cute Filipino spot with amazing food! They make a delicious goto — a Filipino rice porridge, but elevated with crispy liempo on top and finished with a squeeze of kalamansi that instantly takes your soul back to the Philippines. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back for more!

My boyfriend(who’s Filipino) and I went here on valentines for breakfast. The lovely owners, also husband and wife were so nice and the food (BBQ chicken, Porkbelly, and lumpia) was amazing, we almost went back the next day just for more lumpia. Must try spot!! (I never write reviews)

This place is REALLY REALLY Good! I just found out about them today, It’s not fast food. It’s cooked with love!
Me and my friend had Palabok, BBQ Chicken, Isaw, and Kwek-kwek.
Definitely coming back again! Super positive and friendly.
My only regret is i should have ordered a BBQ chicken and rice to go. Don’t make the same mistake I did. order two!

I recently ordered from MT Bites, and everything was excellent! The chicken inasal BBQ was flavorful, juicy, and perfectly grilled. The pork BBQ had that ideal blend of sweetness and smokiness, and the pork intestine skewers were crispy on the outside and tender inside—so good! The fried rice was also very good, well-seasoned and the perfect pairing to all the dishes.
These are some of my favorite Filipino dishes, and MT Bites truly delivered. The flavors reminded me of my hometown, bringing back warm and familiar memories.
Overall, amazing food and great quality. Highly recommended!

Always looking forward to the isaw every week — it’s so good! Just tried the new sisig on the menu, and it tastes like authentic Kapampangan sisig. Great flavors! Customer service is always excellent whenever we visit. Excited to try more dishes from their menu. Real, authentic Filipino food!

Best chicken inasal of New Jersey!
In my opinion, they have been consistent with their good food quality. I’ve been a customer since their previous restaurant “charcoal grill” back in pre-covid time where they had chicken inasal with unli rice… then MT inasal food truck, and now, MT bites in Elmwood Park. Solid. Salamat bossing! God bless

We were in the area and needed to stop for dinner on the way home. Quick google search for Filipino food led me to this place and it did not disappoint. Everything was FRESH and cooked to order. The owners were friendly and the space was clean. For a family of three we ordered 3 entrees, two sides, and two drinks and came out around $65…very reasonable (who offers $11 entrees anymore?! Amazing.) Real food and DELICIOUS. My only wish was there were more vegetables on the menu, the entrees come with a side of iceberg lettuce and garlic rice. Maybe pancit with veggies would fulfill that. The spot itself is very casual, with a few small tables. The owners gave us a sample to go. We look forward to eating here again, only wish we were closer for regular take out! Salamat po!
