I was in the area for some Uber driving and low and behold what a delight should arise! La Casa, wow this was a great place to pit stop. This is a traditional liver over rice and bean dish. I was taken back home with the authenticy and flavors. If you want delicious food come and sit in or take out from this awesome place. Can’t wait to take an additional plate home. I just am wanting everything I see lol. Thank me later.

Moved to this area and saw this dominican spot. I like Dominican food and I decided to try it. The food was good. Got some pernil and rice and yuca and the price was decent. Portion was good as well.

First thing I saw was an elderly grandmother, walking a large pot of arroz con gandules. Just like my grandmothers did, all of them.
The gentleman who made my mofongo clearly knew what he was doing. The flavor profile is bananas, literally. The mojito they give is straight .
That juice I got next door at the Asian Sunlight Market.

Very easy to overlook. Great food and good portions. I always get chicharon here and they make it the way I like it. Juicy and fatty with crispy skin. More importantly, it’s always cooked that way consistantly. Other Latin places I’ve been to in the area make theirs rock hard. Their pork stew is also great.
