I was cold and hungry and I literally went into 2 others restaurants before wandering into this place. The atmosphere was very peaceful! The food was very good. I ordered beef stew over two types of rice (yellow and black beans & rice).

Overpriced and not as advertised. I ordered Sancocho and Pollo Guisado. What I was delivered was a container full of what seemed like vegetable soup (carrots, celery and 2 pieces of potato) and then I found tiny chicken bone with a few strands of chicken at the bottom. The container of pollo guisado was 95% rice and beans with 2 mostly bone tiny pieces of chicken. Only reason for 2 star is because flavor for rice and beans was good. “Sancocho” was an American vegetable flavored and filled soup.

I’ve seen some pics and review of this place. Let me clear things up. If you are just a garbage disposal then ya set, but if you cherish authentic food.

I always order from tres hermanas, I have so much love for Dominican food but today made me question if I should ever go back. I ordered through DoorDash two hours before closing. I spend $45 on a fried chicken sandwich that turned out to be grilled with no tomatoes or lettuce and it wasn’t properly wrapped! It literally came just as you see in the picture. I also ordered fried chuleta with rice and beans for my boyfriend. Only two pieces of chuleta came with that order and it was 16 dollars! The only thing that turned out correctly was the rice and the potato salad. They also did not call me when the food arrived, my food was outside my door getting cold! You shouldn’t be taking orders through DoorDash or UberEats two hours before closing if this is what you’re serving to your customers.

Very professional staff and great service. The food was delicious and very large portions. I got it delivered to a friends house and it arrived promptly. They followed all social distancing guidelines when delivering.

Don’t buy their empanadas, don’t say no one warned you.

While stuck in traffic, curb appeal made me take note of this place as a spot to try out. Finally had the opportunity and it was more than worth it. Food is authentic, fresh and reminiscent of my family’s vibe, who we’ll miss this Thanksgiving due to covid. Super friendly service and very reasonably priced for nice size portions. This now is my go-to spot for my type of comfort food. Spreading the word to everyone I know. This place is official!

Does not taste like Dominican food at all and the alcapurria was still raw on the inside. I got the steak in red sauce with white rice and beans. Will never try this place again. Steak was super thin – almost non existent, flavorless, and hard. Beans lacked flavor as well. You can tell they use the bare minimum of ingredients to create a well balanced Dominican dish.

Yum! I am Dominican and love a place that reminds me of my family’s cooking. I ordered the fried fish with a side of tostones. The tostones were perfectly fried and the fish was so good. The service was also great, very friendly and quick. I hope to get back out there soon to try some more dishes!
