We loved this place. First-time visiting. The food was exquisite and fresh. My shrimp Fajita and Churros for dessert were so delish. My family also enjoyed their dishes. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He gave us the best recommendations. It’s totally recommended.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Here, they have excellent service, great food, and a beautiful Mexican style environment. The architectural design here is amazing, setting the visual tone to match my satisfied taste buds (lol). We just stopped for food randomly while passing through. OMG. It was fantastic. The food was very good, and we got a lot of food for the price honestly! I got a 3 meat mix burrito (chicken steak and chorizo), my friend got chicken fajita. Fantastic, and quick service too. If your ever passing through, definitely stop here. Very very good. Easy parking (we came with a horse trailer and there was plenty of room for that)

Ordered a seafood Chimichanga, I have never returned an order & I very rarely leave bad reviews.
The chimichanga was supposed to have shrimp & crab. Shrimp was mushy, & shredded meat of some kind looked & tasted like leftover chicken or pork from someone else’s plate. Absolutely NOT crab although the waiter argued with me that it was as well as the manager. They were very curt, & still charged me for the meal when I changed my order.
Not a good experience. Need to work on customer service, friendliness & that dish.

Was visiting Ripley, WV for work purposes. Mostly plant based, so it’s always a challenge to find vegetarian/vegan options while traveling. Came for dinner here one night, and ordered Pina Loco Fajitas (vegetarian) and it was mind blowing. Loved the flavor it had with gravy + pineapple pieces + grilled veggies. The ambiance and service was very nice too. Came next night again to try something else, and got Molajete (vegetarian) with sides of refried beans, mexican rice, and mexican styled guacamole. Everything was delicious and portion size was huge for a single person. I love and have tried mexican food in Mexico and all around US, and I will say this place does a commendable job in providing unique dishes, with authentic taste and at such an affordable price! Unbelievable!!!

This is the third time I am being to this restaurant. Never disappointed and thought this deserves a review. I ordered a burrito when I was there for the first time and it was delicious. During my second visit I ordered Fajitas and it was amazing. Today I got Pollo Asado and it was good. Their lunch specials are the best. You can get delicious lunch for less than $6. They also have an amazing bar inside. We got our food in exactly 6minutes. Their service is pretty fast. Great atmosphere and absolutely clean. Dont let the front appearance mislead you. I highly recommend this place.

Nice food for a very reasonable price! Service is quick and friendly. The only thing was no one was there to seat us or was there a cashier. People were waiting around until I decided to go in to get someone. They also have a very clean ladies’ bathroom! I would recommend this restaurant!

Horrible tasteless food with incredibly slow service. This was our favorite restaurant, now we’ll grab gas station food before getting food here.
Waited 10 minutes before a server came to take our order, 40 minutes later the wrong food was brought out to the table, not too long later the right food was brought to the table.
Taco salad meat had no seasoning, no taco seasoning or even salt or pepper. The pile of lukewarm unseasoned ground beef was in a deep pool of grease. Tamales, beans, rice, and enchilada all were cold; some with cold centers suggesting the food is frozen and microwaved or something before being brought to the table.
Adding to ruining the eating experience were Las Trancas employees loudly hammering on tables as they made whatever adjustments to the tables and then dragging other tables past diners to their work area to then hammer on those tables.
Unsure who at Las Trancas decided to destroy this previously great restaurant.

Extremely pleasant dining experience. The staff at Las Trancas are all amazingly responsive and attentive. Food is always served quickly and is fresh and warm. I’ve ordered around a dozen different items off of the menu and none have failed to impress me. My favorite is the taco salad with the Chile relleno is a close second. While a taco salad may seem an odd, unremarkable favorite; Las Trancas gets it just right… the shell doesn’t get soggy, it isn’t greasy, and the crispness is just perfect. Finally, the salsa is good; but the spicy salsa available upon request is amazing if you like some heat.
Update: the tilapia and shrimp dishes are surprisingly good.
