We arrived early so we were served very quickly. We ordered tortas and im glad we did. It was delicious. I love Mexican food, but i am not being biased when i say i enjoyed the a torta de Asada. Very friendly people work here; it seems like a family business type of place. It wasn’t too busy when we got here, and the food was ready quickly. The guacamole was the best I’ve ever had, and the Jamaica (flavored water drink) was really good. My partner got tacos, and he loved them so much, he got another order to go. Would recommend!

So awesome. We felt like the entire restaurant was taking care of us. Everything is homemade and the beer is cold, great experience. If you enjoy Mexican and have not been here you have a problem.
We sat on the only table on the patio as they smoked whole chickens (this is done Friday-Sunday). I could write a novel on how awesome this place is but check it out for yourself. Nothing fancy here but the love put in the food and genuine service and care by the employees makes this my new favorite spot in Roanoke.

The best hidden gem in Roanoke! Everything on their menu is amazing, and the smell of the grill welcomes you as you walk inside. Their food is made from scratch and everything from the freshly made tacos to the homemade menudo is out of this world good. Portions are generous and the staff is very friendly. This is the best Mexican food here in the Valley, hands down.

They have a wood fired grill with ribs and chicken on the weekends. The barbacoa beef tacos had a fantastic flavor. The guacamole tasted great. Previous reviews have commented on mediocre service, but this was not our experience – we were greeted with a smile, prompt service. I do not live near here, but if I did I would go here often.
