Huitlacoche can be hard to find, but this place has it and they do it well. Had the huitlacoche quesadilla and al pastor sope. Both were excellent. The quesadilla was so cheesy and full of huitlacoche. The sope was loaded with toppings. Great service and they’ll answer any questions and help you decide what to get. Food is made to order and came out smoking hot. Plenty of space to dine in. The place got pretty busy as we were eating.

A real taste of Mexico! Excellent service, everything made from scratch and at the moment. The sope with flor de calabaza made me very happy. The quesadillas are amazing and very big.

The employees are friendly and nice. The atmosphere is comfortable and restrooms are clean, they offer fast service and really good food, both Quesadillas and Sopes (I believe that is what they are called) it’s like a Gordita but it’s open, they put beans, your choice of meat, the cheese and salad; although I gave 5 stars to the staff one thing I do not appreciate is the vocabulary they sometimes (rarely) use.. they have TV’s but muted because of the music they play for themselves (although, if you ask them to turn the volume up I assume they would) As I Was saying they sometimes use very very foul language some REALLY inappropriate words, such as male & female private body parts that we as Hispanics (some) sometimes use to express ourselves but they are in a Restaurant with customers and even kids, although in all honesty I myself only have witnessed this on 2 separate occasions in a handful of times I have attended (to be more specific: 2 occasions were kids were present, but a few other times were only 1 – 5 adults were present and not always are the words very very vulgar sometimes they’ve been just 1 or 2 bad words that accidentally slip out and of those few times most of them you can only hear them if your near the counter were you order or if your eavesdropping on their conversation which is why I still say they are friendly, respectful of you and kind and gave 5 stars, but it is something to work on because not everyone will feel the same way and although just because most people don’t say something it doesn’t mean it doesn’t bother them and some may not say anything but still take it into account that o wether they return or not.. I say this because I am normally someone who does this; if I am unsatisfied with the service I may not complain or give a bad rating but I just won’t bother to return ever, or to ever recommend said service. Onlu reason I am leaving feedback is because I really do enjoy this restaurant and it’s food very much so that I always suggest it when someone asks me for somewhere to eat, it’s fast food but it’s not your typical burger fast food with fries ( they should serve french fries by the way) you can eat it quickly if your in a hurry even in your car with very little to no mess at all depending on which type you get or you can sit down and enjoy them slowly and savory.
BUT (and a BIG BUT!) the location is LACKING in store hours. Specifically on weekends; Sundays they close super early at 5:00 p.m. perhaps this is because it may be a bit slow but it takes a bit of time for customers to take advantage of a new and better hours of operation.. I personally find my self having to go 20 mins one way out of my way to the location at New Braunfels and 20 minutes back home because of the hours of operation. I like to eat there every weekend sometimes both Sat. & Sun. But because of the hours and the distance to the other locations I find my self having to go during my lunch break. Every other week or sometimes only once a month. I still have 5 stars to service because I believe that falls under the staff service not the store hours. But for store hours I would give a 3 star because at least they still open on Sundays even if I myself am not able to take advantage of it.

I always come here when I’m passing by and it’s lunch time. They have great quesadillas and good meat choices. The service is great all the time. Place is very clean! Don’t forget to take some of their carrot cake, is the best dessert Ive ever had.
