Delicious food and great service. The veal parmesan was prepared to perfection. We tried the Ravioli special which was a chicken and cheese with a spicy marinara, yummmm. Had never had a chicken Ravioli so went for something different and was not disappointed. The shrimp scampi was also tasty. We unfortunately forgot to take photos of the Amazing garlic bread omg I could eat that every day. Hahaha. Thank you Josh for such wonderful service and suggestions. That Lemoncello shot is sheer perfection, a must try as it is made in house. And Arthur we appreciate all your help! Definitely returning!!!

We just spent a weekend here and we liked this place so much we came back a second time.

We absolutely loved the special: a fig ravioli! Also, the garlic bread was a real treat! I loved the oil dip for it.

The bar service was excellent, with a huge wine selection that was fabulous. I went with the Lagone red blend.

We very much enjoyed the conversation with the employees, and I highly recommend trying their house made limoncello!

We’re coming back this summer, and I guarantee we’re going to go here again!

Italian restaurant located in McGregor Square. Menu had traditional Italian, served family style. Great for large or small groups. Waitstaff was super friendly, and gave good recommendations. Will be back!

I had the carbonara and it was absolutely fantastic—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The bread they serve is to die for, seriously some of the best I’ve had. Great service, beautiful space, and an all-around excellent dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

We loved Carmines! This is the place to go to bring a loved one for a lovely time. The energy here is definitely not like the original carmines but I have to say they really cater to the local environment. We loved our waitress Britney, you killed it in they boot! The hustle game is real here and only the real ones know to come here!!! Get the ravioli with vodka sauce!!!

The service and experience was exceptional. Everything was family style — from the plates to the hospitality. The food was fabulous. Pictured is the seared portobello, one of the appetizers. I also recommend the Chicken a la Carmine. Kudos to the staff for giving us an experience we will want to share with family and friends who visit.

Our family is on a trip to Denver from California, we came to McGregor Square to grab some dinner since we were in the area walking around. We decided some Italian food sounded good and was seated at Carmines.
Our server was Josh, I cannot say anything about the food because we ended up leaving before we were able to have anything other than drinks. The menu does not explain what the food is, just names of the item but we ended up looking at the menu online and it explained.
When Josh came to grab our order, we were not ready to put in entrees but knew what appetizers we wanted, I told Josh the server what we decided on and he said he won’t put in the appetizer without the entrees because it throws the kitchen off so he will give me more time. I found this odd but okay, when he came back I had the order, I cannot eat shrimp but my family can so we ordered our dish with the shrimp on the side so they can add it themselves he had to check if the kitchen would do that, they would, I asked for the non spicy marinara sauce (he told us we could change the sauce) so when I ask he explains the Italian sausage is spicy which we know and are okay with I said that’s okay he keeps repeating himself about the sausage and repeating “there’s nothing I can do about that” I keep saying that’s okay we like Italian sausage. He was very argumentative at everything we tried to order and trying to push us to order more, we didn’t need more.
My daughter asked Josh if he could please grab a refill of my son’s Shirley temple he grabs the cup and says “he is gonna get diabetes” surrounding tables heard this and thought it was completely rude and inappropriate. I had enough we canceled our order and asked for the bill for our drinks. He came back dropped the bill on the table and said “sorry you decided not to eat here” in the most sarcastic rude way possible.
This was the worst dining experience ever my 7 year old son was upset to hear what Josh had to say about him and is still asking why he said that.
Josh you should be ashamed of yourself to speak about a child that way, maybe consider a new job this one is not for you. Carmines you should be embarrassed to allow this behavior from a server.
We walked across the way to Tom’s watch bar and had excellent service instead.

We had a company dinner there, with the food served “family style” (my first time there, so I don’t know if this is how they do it for all customers). From bread to appetizers to salads to entrees, it was all excellent. The Chianti was flowing, the staff was extremely helpful and very friendly, and the final dessert tray was delicious! Thanks for a great night!

We ordered chicken parmigiana and spaghetti bolognese, the chicken tasted heavily like dirty cooking oil and the spaghetti was extremely salty. Our server was very kind but the food was just not good.

My niece selected Carmine’s and I should have protested. I had a small appetite, I am supposed to avoid wheat and fried foods, and tomato sauce activates my acid reflux. Her daughter & my husband wanted the chicken parmigiana, so that’s what we ordered for the four of us. Niece ordered a side of polenta for the two of us and husband and daughter had sides of pasta (spaghetti for the 11 year old & ziti for hubby). It was family style, so we had four large chicken breasts. All three sides were big enough for two or 3 people – not just the one who ate it.

Our wait staff was exceptional- attentive, friendly, solicitous. When the bread was delivered, it was too much to resist. It was delicious, and I knew my body would rebel later. But I enjoyed every bite.

It was the same story with the chicken parmigiana. The coating was rich and divine, and the chicken inside was moist. Again my body rebelled later for eating tomato sauce and fried food. My three family members also loved everything delivered to the table, but we could not consume all of it. We took the leftovers to the hotel. As we were from out of town, we could not enjoy the leftovers the next day – no microwave and no insulated bag to transport them three hours home. We ated leaving them behind in the trash.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant for two hungry people, or a hungry family of four or more, with no dietary restrictions. The service, staff and food were great. Bring an insulated bag for leftovers!
