Dined in here with my family, as well as ordered some food for takeout and I had an amazing experience! The owner was very welcoming and warm, portions were generous and food was amazing, the food and drinks (especially the horchata) were better than all HIGHLY rate restaurants in Perth Amboy.
The torta in the picture was flavored very well and it had chipotle in it which added a very nice twist! It was also only $12 for the torta and fries, it’s a very budget friendly restaurant and I will be returning.

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat before watching fireworks in Perth Amboy. We were immediately drawn to the beautiful, adorned Katrina ladies decorating the windows. We were greeted by such a heartwarming family and were immediately impressed with the themed décor and artistic accents of the “Day of the Dead.”
We enjoyed the fresh, authentic delicious food. The salsa, chips, and guacamole are all made on site with their special recipe. The service was outstanding. They were attentive, courteous, and polite; they truly cater to their guests. Arturo, Margarita and little Amanda made us feel like VIPs. They recognized us as “the first Americanos” to visit their restaurant and presented us with a beautiful handmade plate displaying the vibrant colors of their country, Mexico. This memorable gift has a special place in our home and will always be a reminder of our wonderful, generous friends and the delicious meal we enjoyed that evening. We will certainly be back again soon and we highly recommend you visit as well!

The food here is absolutely amazing and very authentic! The Al Pastor and Barbocoa, tortas, and guacamole are the absolute best I’ve ever had and really affordable. Everything is so fresh and tasty, even the homemade pineapple juice. The service is really quick and the lovely woman in the front is very kind and enthusiastic. I will absolutely be going back asap- you need to try this place!

Had an amazing experience, food, service everything was unbelievable, authentic real Mexican food, the waitress very good and very nice so was the owner. I have been there 2 times and I’ll go back again, from long branch to Perth Amboy, I 100% recommend this place
