If you look at the location on google maps and look at it in person, it’s exactly as you’d imagine. It’s a dive bar and it serves a great purpose. If you’re looking for something a bit different then touristy then this is the place you’d go.

One of THE oldest bar restaurants still to survive in posh Naperville. Glad to see the owner is keeping the classic bar charm going here. Had a great time eating classic bar food while soaking in the environment. Won’t find an unhappy soul here. And they were the only establishment within blocks of downtown Naperville that was already serving Octoberfest. OctoberFest and sports on multiple panels. Yep, the hubby was VERY happy to dine here tonight!

It was my first time seeing Karaoke night at Lanterns and it was phenomenal. Just a wonderful atmosphere. Great service. Very crowded and I just had a blast with my friend. I definitely recommend going to Karaoke at Lanterns.

I went to the Lantern to get a drink with the boys and the bouncer looked me up and down, took my ID, and refused to give it back. I’m assuming he took down my address because now he sends me love letters every other week. I’m not interested dude!

Great atmosphere and great bartenders, but the experience gets heavily degraded because the bouncers aren’t competent and don’t know what a real out of state ID looks like. It looks like I’m not the only person that’s had this problem. Do better.
