Kinda new in the area and I’ve been in the tavern a couple of times for drinks only but was always curious about their food.
I stopped into the tavern today before it started snowing for some wings and I honestly wasn’t expecting to get some of the best chicken wings I had in a long time.
From the moment the wings hit the table, you could tell they were done right. They arrived hot and fresh. The presentation alone made it clear the kitchen actually cares about what they serve. Not soggy, just crispy, golden perfection coated evenly in sauce.
The portion size was generous too. These weren’t tiny wings padded with breading, they were meaty, satisfying, and clearly high quality.
Oh! And my server recommended to get the ranch because it was house made, now I’m obsessed with it!
These wings hit every mark with the flavor and texture for me.
Already planning my next visit after this stupid storm is over. This is the kind of place where you go in expecting a casual bite and leave wanting to tell everyone you know about it. I can see why this place is so popular.
Next time I’m bringing friends because food this good deserves an audience.

Called and ordered two things of wings ( bbq) and I wanted breaded wings but my partner made a mistake ordering and just ordered plain. We also ordered fries. I get home and we are missing the fries. Very annoying since I live pretty far and it’s freezing out and I didn’t want to have to go back but whatever it happens. We go back and I bring the wings I also didn’t want to see if they could let me switch them for something else since they inconvenienced us by forgetting the fries but they wouldn’t. I completely understand, that those wings were our mistake but since they forgot the fries I thought maybe they would try and make us feel better as customers, however that wasn’t the case. Instead we waited for the fries and the worker came back out and messed up the fries again! Then finally they get it correct and we go home and we sit down and my partner opens her wings and they aren’t bbq wings like she ordered they are buffalo wings that she’s allergic to!!!! Just absolutely horrible service!!! I used to be a weekly customer but I can’t see myself going back.

The staff is very attentive and professional — you don’t even notice them, but whenever you need something, they are always right there. This is extremely important for a comfortable atmosphere.
The service was excellent, the place is clean and welcoming.

Solid lunchtime meal at a reasonable price. Burgers and Fish & Chips were good. Coleslaw was fine grated with the perfect mix of sweet & tangy. Waffle fries were outstanding in my eyes. Most places don’t cook them long enough, but these were perfect.

Absolutely the best restaurant around! We have always had exceptional food, my husband says that have the best Reuben he has ever had! He loves their steak tacos too!

I have passed this place so many times in my travels because I live close by and never gave it much thought to try. Let me say, don’t let the outside looks fool you. It looks small and a bit weathered from the outside, but the experience is 5 stars!
The tavern is on the smaller side and loud on the inside but not in an obnoxious way. Its more of a neighborly, friendly noise level, typical of a good tavern.
Our server Tyler B was great! He always knew when to come over and check in on us. We never waited much for anything.
The food was phenomenal. For our appetizer, we got the Crispy Teryaki Cauliflower tacos. Wow. The cauliflower was so meaty and was fried to perfection.
For my entree I got the blackened fish rice bowl with Teriyaki. It was so good! My fiance got the General Tsos Wrap with garlic parmesan fries. He loved it!
The prices were fair, the food was great and the atmosphere was lively. Can’t wait to come back again!

Nice local bar with friendly staff and locals. Food was solid but not over the top facilities and equipment well maintained made me not want rush to leave the game all in all I would visit again if I loved here I would see myself becoming regular.
