First timers all the way from Wyoming, and I must say, Absolutely Amazing! Overall, Great experience! The Service and the food, oh my gosh, so good. Thank you to the chefs and the wonderful young lady from Colorado that served us! We will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!
(And on another side note, the Italian sausage potato soup was really good)

My server Vanessa was extremely nice and even though I got about 10 diet Cokes she was still super nice about not minding going back and forth to getting them. She recommended the special and it was the scallop and spicy tuna special. It was absolutely delicious and I also really liked the banana cream dessert. Atmosphere of the place was really nice. It’s a shame. I came here while it was 40° because outdoors looks really enjoyable in nice weather. Overall the vibe inside was very nice and I did get there for dinner around 4:30 so it was a little empty in there but as I finished it was filling up for dinner.

My mom recently passed and always told us to eat the spinach bisque & almond chicken sandwich!! My daughter & I stopped in to try “Grandmas Favorites.” We were NOT disappointed!! The spinach bisque was outstanding!! The almond chicken sandwich was also excellent! Highly highly highly recommend stopping in for both!!

Quaint little place in Galesburg we dropped by. They have loads of gluten free options! They had an amazing sweet corn, potato, cheese, bacon, chicken soup when we came by. Service was very friendly and attentive. What we assume was the owner was in the restaurant and he was incredibly friendly and could tell he genuinely cared about a great operation.

Located in the cutest downtown shopping area, there is on street parking and public lots available in the area. The dining area is small, you likely cannot accommodate a larger group without a lengthy wait. We arrived around noon on a Sunday and waited about 15 minutes for a table. They provided a pager and indicated you could walk a 3-block radius, then recommended some shops nearby.

When our pager went off we were promptly seated. Tables area is tight, there is not a lot of room to spread out. Our server came quickly and was friendly and accommodating. There are separate menus for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Options include crab cakes, Belgian waffles, paninis, pastas, and of course sweet or savory crepes. There are many options that are either gluten free or can be offered gluten free.

We ordered a GF Turkey Melt, a Bacon & Cheddar Waffle, and Pesto Chicken Pasta. Everything came quickly and was delicious. We would all order what we had again, but with the expansive menu would be excited to try other options also. Many items on the menu can also be ordered in a smaller portion for a reduced price as well. I did this with my pasta, as I wanted to save room for a sweet crepe.

For dessert, we ordered a Nutella Strawberry Crepe, a Black Forest (minus the cherry) Crepe, and the Hot Fudge Crepe (half portions). The Black Forest and hot fudge were filled with vanilla Hagan Dass ice cream. They were all so delicious and I recommend saving room to try one.

They also offer their coffee beans to take home (and will grind them if desired) in half or full pound bags. The Praline Pecan is really lovely. Overall, if you are in the area, definitely give this place a try! It would be hard to be disappointed.

It’s one of a few restaurants that’s not a bar or a pub in this town. Limited beer, wine, liquor options. Food was good but everything is super prepped in advanced and they don’t space time out from ordering to when you get your food. I ordered mushroom beef soup, and the soup was placed on the table when I stepped away to use wash room. I find that very rude. Your soap is coming out of the soup warmer, which is sitting behind the Service station so no reason to leave it abandoned, when no one’s at the table. As soon was done with the soup, the food came it didn’t take a half hour. It didn’t take 40 minutes to get the food. Everything must’ve been out within like 10-15 minutes. Then the table next to me they ordered some type of fish special. That’s not on the menu and the Server didn’t even announce that to me when she told me of the special so I don’t know if it’s a secret thing you have to order before you come in or what that’s all about so it was a little convoluted my experience. I’ll be back and give it another try since there’s limited options and a lot of places don’t open until Thursday until Sunday.

We enjoyed an early dinner here today. Compliments to the chef – our Chicken Marsala and Spicy Sausage Fettuccine was fantastic! The restaurant is very nice as well.

Cute place, but sadly was not impressed with the food. Given the stars and price point, we expected the quality to be much better.

I had the chicken pot pie. The crust/puff pastry was amazing, but the chicken was poor quality. It reminded me of the extremely processed strips you can buy in the bag. It definitely was not a good chicken breast. I call it “icky chicky”. Additionally, the pot pie looks hearty, but under the crust there wasnt much of the pie filling. Looks are deceiving, as the crock was a quarter of the way full at best. I don’t have pictures as we were dining with others and didn’t want to be rude.

The lobster bisque was liked and filled (and with price it should be). However, the crab cake sliders tasted heavily of italian seasoning to where they weren’t enjoyable and priced high for 2 small sliders.

Maybe we just had the wrong items, as I’m not sure how this place is rated so highly. I’d try again, but maybe do the spinach bisque?

I came to the personal conclusion that it’s higher end for Galesburg, so people may expect, anticipate and want it to be good?

My sister and I enjoyed our lunch here, it was packed on a Monday which surprised me, but we got seated after a short wait. Our food was good – my turkey/walnut/cheese sandwich was delish and their famous spinach bisque was really good – get it to share, it’s a big serving!

Our first time here but came highly recommended by family who frequent this area. We had a party of six and our server Ben was fantastic! This is definitely a farm to table restaurant! Every dish was freshly made and even the strawberries were ruby red! The peasant bread was delicious! It’s kid friendly and gluten free or vegetarian options are available. Street parking is available.
