Disappointed. Ordered sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice. The chicken was pretty dry, not very saucy, see in the photo the bottom of the tray is DRY. Now I see why the menu offered the options of extra sauce or sauce on the side (at an additional charge). I should have selected one of those but I’ve never received dry sesame chicken unless it wasn’t freshly made. The rice was just okay but contained no egg or sprouts. It was literally just rice, oh with some onions. I personally like egg in my fried rice and don’t usually have to request, maybe this is their style. I paid the $5.50 upgrade for about six small shrimp. As you can see from the pic, once you eat the shrimp there’s little reason to continue. I didn’t care for the taste of the egg roll at all so couldn’t eat that. Restaurants have their own flavors and maybe this one just isn’t for me. It has great reviews so I’m glad others enjoy it, but I won’t be returning.

I ordered soup egg drop, won ton, was good, the dry noodles for the soup tasted cooked in old oil, the fried rice I don’t like peas they liked like they were frozen, children was very small old looking ,egg looked gross, I couldn’t even eat it.. Good thing I didn’t see the rice first.. The egg roll was ok. I feel they were cooked in old oil. .

I allow myself one cheat meal a week and for the past year and a half it has always been General tso’s chicken from Lams pearl city. Every other restaurant within a 20 mile radius cannot hold a candle to Sandy’s cooking. The chicken is always very crispy and you can be rest assured that you will be treated with great customer service and respect. I drive past other restaurants and laugh.

Lunch or dinner combinations do not come with soup, hot tea or a roll. If you want that it’s all extra. For dine in, that’s crazy and too much. If you want a great meal go to Wongs Garden where you get it all!!!!

The chicken in the Almond boneless dinner was tougher than leather. Generous portions though. Going back to Wing Wah on 13 Mile in Warren.

I’ve been coming here for years. They have the best food in the area by far and they are always very courteous. The prices are more than fair and the portions more than generous, usually I end up taking in left overs to work the next day for lunch. Love these guys. Despite the some of the neighboring shops, they have a very peaceful atmosphere inside. Foods always done on time or sooner as well if you order for take out. They are very reliable, genuine business. I cannot praise them enough.

We ordered food on 8/31/22 around 7pm order was a general t’so dinner, sweet sour dinner, 4 extra egg rolls for a dinner party and I was shocked at the quality. The general had very little sauce, it was super dry. The sweet and sour tasted like it WAS sour, absolutely gross. Egg rolls tasted like someone microwaved them, very soggy. We have been here many times before, always loved the quality, I don’t know what happened that night!

I moved to the Clinton township area in May 2021. I made Lam’s my choice for Chinese food in the area. This place use to be really good. It has really gone down. In just a year this place went from My Go-to, to a place I’ll probably never go back to. Prices have gone up but quality surely decreased. I’ve even given them the benefit of the doubt thinking it was just a bad day. The doubt has been extended my last 4 visits. The rice is either mushy or greasy. The “chicken” is fried close to burnt and the meat is rubbery. I order shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. I added sesame chicken along with it this time. Terrible on top of terrible and it was pricey. This place will soon be no where near the 4 it’s rated at. A year ago I would have given this a 5 easy. 2 stars was generous of me for them.
