What wasn’t ok was the service I received. I’ve been here before and never really had a memorable encounter or issue. Perhaps this staff member was overworked or underpaid. Either way, I do expect some degree of kindness, patience, humanity from someone in food service. Well, this cashier seemed to have a poor encounter with a previous customer and carried it on to me when I ordered. She insisted I ordered a certain number of items and was quite rude when I corrected her. As a customer, I know what I’m getting into when paying $20+ for what is likely $5-10 worth of items. But being treated poorly after a long day just irks me and is not part of the deal. Linda or whoever you are (name of the person on my receipt), thanks for nothing.
Best place for morning coffee and pastry. The house blend drip coffee is tastier than Starbucks’ coffee. Pastries are well made and pretty good for the Caesars Palace options. Ask them to warm up the pastries!
The chocolate croissant, the cinnamon-sugar brioche and the raisin brioche are the pastries I tried. I would get them all again!
Note that you will pay casino prices for the coffee ($5, $6, $7 for small, medium and large) and pastries. A bit more expensive than if you were off the strip. But overall, five ⭐.
