Lamplighter Cafe and Lounge: A Charming Dining Experience in …
Reviews
The menu has tasty, generous servings and friendly staff. Priced fair- clean bathrooms. The western burger is yummy and the fish
tacos are amazing. Loved the poppers.
The menu is extensive. The front is a small cafe– the back a bar. I suggest you walk the town and view the buildings architectural features and be sure to turn the corners.
In Oakland, antique stores are worth a visit, so is lunch.
One business I visited was the Lamplighter Cafe & Lounge, which
Had an interior that was both rustic & elegant with a bar fully stocked from the top shelf down, seemingly with every liquor needed to excite the imagination & to enjoy your favorite cocktail.
I ordered chicken strips ,fries & coleslaw with a beer to wash it down. The meal was fantastic, with the coleslaw being the kicker for me. Most restaurants make tasteles slaw that I often request a fix or return it. The Lamplighter had some of the best slaw that I haven’t had to make myself, so that ensured a 5☆
review.
If you, your family, or friends are in the vicinity of Oakland, Oregon, you must visit the Lamplighter Cafe & Lounge. It features great adult beverages & some really good food. *In addition to the lounge, there is seating in the front of the establishment for those under 21 or those not wishing to utilize the lounge area. For patrons wanting to test their luck, various video poker machines are in-house & this being my first time at the Lamplighter, I’m sure there are other features I haven’t mentioned.
The atmosphere is pleasant with friendly staff & I will make it a point to visit there again
