The Lamplighter is a locally owned and operated cafe and bar. We serve Appetizers, Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, Steaks, Lunch, Dinner. Every Friday and we serve Prime Rib Dinner. Lunch and Dinner are available on Saturdays and Sunday’s. We have Taco Tuesdays. The front area of our restaurant is open to all ages. Large TV’s for all Sports Viewing.

I love the bartenders that work on Friday. They are hilarious and very quick to get your order. The food is really good here too. My only problem with this place is that touchtunes is blocked by the management most of the times I have visited. Power to the people! Let us play music! This restaurant is in a beautiful, old, restored building with a ton of charm. The town is a couple miles from I-5 and was a very welcome site after hours of dodging raindrops on the freeway. The crispy chicken sandwich and fries were delicious and the service was excellent!!! For me it was a quick stop so I could get back on the road but the restaurant and town deserve a revisit when I have more time to enjoy them!

Had an interior that was both rustic & elegant with a bar fully stocked from the top shelf down, seemingly with every liquor needed to excite the imagination & to enjoy your favorite cocktail.
I ordered chicken strips ,fries & coleslaw with a beer to wash it down. The meal was fantastic, with the coleslaw being the kicker for me. Most restaurants make tasteles slaw that I often request a fix or return it. The Lamplighter had some of the best slaw that I haven’t had to make myself, so that ensured a 5☆

For patrons wanting to test their luck, various video poker machines are in-house & this being my first time at the Lamplighter, I’m sure there are other features I haven’t mentioned.
The atmosphere is pleasant with friendly staff & I will make it a point to visit there again

Horrible experience, took over an hour to get my food mind you it was a simple order, got little to no service from the servers when I finally got my food my elk burger was soggy and cold mind you I paid nearly 20 dollars for the burger felt like I was eating some leftover I pulled out of my fridge, would not recommend only reason why this business is still movie is because of its past reputation.
