The restaurant was clean and the staff was good and friendly. It’s a cute place and offers some outdoor seating. The chips are thin and crisp. The salsa is thin but loaded with onions, cilantro etc. I ordered el Giro. The Mexican sauce on the enchilada was delicious and the quesadillas oozed with white cheese and chicken. I wanted to try the sopapilla but you can’t order just one so I will pass until I come with more people. I will visit again and I am happy it’s so close. It’s in a strip mall with Ace Hardware. Oh

I honestly think they put random meat in their El Sabroso Enchiladas? Is this a part of the menu? There’s a bunch of burned gritty pieces from the grill when they scooped the chicken into the enchiladas…. And an assortment of random meats (beef?) They’re usually AMAZING, but tonight was an absolute miss & grossed me out. Lately the food hasn’t been as good.

1st time experience. The host said Lalos has been there for a year. I wanted to eat from the ale carte menu for focused attention. Chips- thin and crisp, a little too oily; fine. Red salsa- needs depth of flavor; needs improvement. Green salsa- needs depth of flavor; needs improvement. Pico de gallo- looked a couple days old, too salty, could use a little more cilantro; needs improvement. Bean soup- beans tender, good ingredients, tooo salty; needs improvement. Rice- good. The waitstaff was good

The food is delicious and the margaritas are superb. The service is excellent Maria was awesome she made sure that we are well taken care of. We ordered the special Fajita Mix for 2. Chicken, Beef and bacon it tasted fabulous.

Went to have dinner with family from out of town. Preferred a table outside to avoid the distracting chatter of the other customers as my husband is hard of hearing. We were treated rudely by all the staff including management. As if we had just came for the chips and dip which we were limited when originally served and had to ask for the green salsa and then more chips…… well everything because nothing was brought out for us nor offered. The food was amazing, the staff made us comfortable! We have 4 kids so we don’t like to be in a crowded area so one of the workers immediately put together a comfortable area for us to dine! There’s so much to choose from on the menu and the margaritas are NOT weak!! That was definitely a plus. My food was DELICIOUS! I had chicken with some kind of sauce with shrimp.

We went to another restaurant in town and waited for over 20 minutes and never got a waiter/waitress to look our way so we left. As we drove home trying to figure out what we were going to do I remembered I saw a good review about Lalo’s and we hadn’t tried it yet so we decided to give it a shot. Jorge our sever was awesome. He told us the carnitas were the best around so we did the The Texas Burrito. It was full of carnitas and topped with cheese. He heard our woes of the other restaurant and had our food out in less than 5 minutes. When he said the carnitas were the best around I didn’t believe him because everyone says that but let me tell you. Not only is it the best around it is the best I’ve ever eaten. It was so flavorful and delicious. It wasn’t greasy or overly porky. I couldn’t stop eating it and saying yum. The sangria margarita was awesome as well. We will definitely be back. Excellent service and excellent food. They will be our first choice when we think about going out for Mexican food again.
