Lovely place to dine in, take out or eat on the patio. It’s actually right next door to a golf course. I’m not a golfer, so I know nothing about the golf aspect, but the food is delicious, fresh, and there are choices for both meat, eaters chicken, fanciers, or fish lovers. Two different kinds of rice, all made with love respecting the roots of Jamaican cuisine. Karlene is the owner. She’s there most of the time when it’s open, she is a gracious hostess And has music there live music could be jazz, R&B, depends on the artist she books. I perform their on the occasional Fridays with the Betty Liste. Trio and music starts at six and ends at 9 PM. A great place for that neighborhood it’s amazing she found that little spot. She has two other places also so you should check out the website. This is Sarah James signing off. Have a great day!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hibiscus Island Grill, a local Jamaican/Caribbean restaurant, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere, warm hospitality, and, most importantly, the outstanding flavors. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine, this place is a must.

We spent almost $100 for 2 oxtail dinners, brown stewed chicken, beef patties. I was disappointed at the portion sizes and meal a bit pricey.

Great Change of Pace to the area. Where else are you going to get authentic Jamaican Food? This place was fantastic and a great find. A little pricy for the combos, but its is well worth it in the quality that they deliver. My BBQ Ribs platter was $15.95 with white rice and green beans. The Ribs were excellent and pulled right of tge bone. The sauce was great and worked well with the rice and green beans. First time there and I asked questions, but it was hard to hear as the music was really loud at the time. But I made a solid choice. The place was clean and people were nice. Wish them great success at this location. I am now a customer and will go back soon to try more of their menu. Great Job.

My manager and I decided to get lunch here and I was looking forward to it. When we arrived I parked in their lot right next to the golf place. When we walked in we were greeted and the nice young men explained certain dishes. They had food out, already made or food to order. I went with the vegetable roti and it came to about $13. We sat for a while, paid and left. When I got home I dug in and boy was the roti delicious and filling. The flavor was great. I will definitely try more dishes.

Having ordered a portion of food, which came lovingly arranged in a plastic takeaway box for that extra special dining-in experience, the request for some tap water came with a stern “we do not serve that” reply.

A hidden gem in this small town. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine this is it. Don’t let the location fool you. Although is located in the Best Western Hotel and the decor is reminiscent of the 80s the staff is friendly and the food is finger licking good. I ordered the rasta pasta with Shrimp and my friend ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and we were both overly satisfied with the food.
