lala, a word as diverse as its interpretations across cultures, embodies a myriad of meanings, from a catchy tune to something exceptionally delightful or whimsical. Much like its namesake, lala restaurant transcends singular definitions; it encapsulates a multitude of representations rolled into one culinary haven.

Went to Lala in San Juan in September. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the lighting, decor, and presentation all make it feel like a true fine dining experience, and the atmosphere was probably the best part of the night.
The food was good, but being from New York I have to be honest, by NYC standards it felt a little mid and overpriced for what we paid. The total came out to about $336 with tip, and while nothing was bad, I wasn’t blown away by the flavors the way I expected at that price point. Since it’s Bad Bunny’s establishment, I think I went in with higher expectations, so that might be part of it, but I still expected the food to stand out more.
That said, for San Juan this is definitely one of the nicer dining experiences and the vibe makes it worth going, especially for a special night or vacation dinner. I’m glad I tried it, but I probably wouldn’t rush back.

I absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, everything was fresh and full of flavor. The ambiance was beautiful and such a great vibe overall. Our waiter Bruce was especially amazing he was so attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. He really made the experience even better. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Puerto Rico!

100000/10 stars. I can’t believe this restaurant only has 4.3 stars on Google and not 5. But everything was delicious, especially the oyster variety! Highly recommend. Got the tuna crispy sticky rice, hamachi (I think— pictures below) and the duck. I also got another drink I forgot to snap a picture of but it was the spicy yellow tequila drink; amazing. Our server was Andrew, extremely attentive and helpful with our choices! 5 stars for him! We decided to stop here after our flight and I was happy this was our choice! YUM. My boyfriend and I have high standards for food so this is saying something! 😉

We came here to celebrate my birthday & later learned that they don’t do anything special for birthdays. Service was great & we loved the food/drinks! Portion sizes were good & food was delicious. We sat outside on the patio, but the inside lounge looked MUCH nicer. The outdoor ceiling fans were a nice touch considering it was humid. The outside patio/lounge was right beside the parking lot so it was noisy. Overall, we’d come back again but would book the indoor lounge.

By far the best restaurant in all of Puerto Rico. The bread and shrimp were delicious. My steak was juicy and perfectly cooked and seasoned. I highly recommend this for your next meal

This place was magical for it to be even someone famous restaurant. What makes it special it’s Bad Bunny’s restaurant, but it gave chill very beach vibes with the touch of elegance. But what really got me loving the place was the food, wasn’t expecting it to be as delicious as it was.
Recommending the following:
1. Asian Salad: amazing!! With bits of chicharrón soooo delicious and crispy
2. Crispy rice sushi
3. Gyoza-melted cheese with chives and bacon with a flat crisp, beef not my favorite but it was good.
4. Shrimp tempura- crisped with perfection with fresh shrimp
5. Ribeye steak medium rare, juicy, and flavorful
6. Spicy rigatoni- good
7. Mash potatoes- very cheese and elástico
8. Shisito peppers
9. Creamy spinach
The Service- very good Guillermo was great! He treated us amazing, making sure our table was cleared before the next dish, shared with recommendations and lots of attention
For Drinks- Bembe was delicious and lightly vodka (for those who enjoy vodka)

We tried the Lala restaurant in San Juan this month. It’s Bad Bunny’s restaurant located inside the mall. Since it’s located in the mall, parking was easy. The restaurant is on the 1st floor. The space is very modern, elegant, and fancy.
The staff was great and friendly. Our waiter, Chris, and his helpers, took amazing care of us. They checked in on us often, kept our drinks full, and just made the whole experience feel special.
The cocktails were creative (and the menu was cool, but a little hard to read). I tried their lychee vodka drink first which was refreshing and tasty, and then went for an espresso martini because I needed a little boost (delicious).
For appetizers, we ordered the focaccia, shrimp tempura, and the French onion escargot, all fantastic. For my entrée, I got the Italian sausage orecchiette pasta, which was very flavorful and delicious.
My only criticism is the pricing. My pasta was around $40, which feels steep for what it is. The food is tasty, but the cost doesn’t totally match what you get.
We finished with the bread pudding accompanied by goat cheese ice cream, and that dessert is a must‑try because it was absolutely delicious.
Overall, we had a fun experience with great service, beautiful space, tasty food. Just be aware that the prices are on the higher side. Expensive doesn’t always mean it’s better.

Great food and service. Food came out very slow however. The drinks were good! The lamb was perfectly cooked as requested medium but could have used a little bit more salt and it took like 30+ minutes to come out. The crispy skin salmon was perfect as well. Crispy rice my favorite! Oyster flight is good too.

Our experience at lala was amazing, a true food journey of different flavors. We tried multiple appetizers to enjoy different dishes including the Salmon tare tare, Hamachi nigiri, and Burrata, all various cuisines that mixed well with our drinks. Our server, Bruce, helped us pick out his recommendations in food and in drinks. I say get Bruce’s favorite drink “Jelga”, a mix of whiskey and roasted pumpkin.
Ambience and service was great too! Come here with family to enjoy some classy gastronomy.

Highly recommend making reservations because this place seems to stay pretty busy, but I can see why! The interior is so beautiful and perfect for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion. Our server was pretty attentive at the beginning of service, but a little less towards the end but he was very nice. I ordered the lalalandia which is recommend to any lavender lovers, very smooth! Oh my gosh the Pan Fried Gyoza was INCREDIBLE, such a different flavor profile than I’ve ever had with Gyoza 12/10! The Crispy Rice was really good, the tuna was so fresh, but my only complaint was that I’m not crazy about the batter they used to fry the rice. Other than that, so good and fresh 9/10! My boyfriend ordered the Wellington and wow, incredible I love the sauce they used. Such a beautifully balanced dish 10/10. I got the Shortrib Tortellini and so, so good another 10/10. Overall I’d highly recommend Lala, it’s an entire experience from start to finish.
