Great little ice cream shop. The inside and outside is very unassuming and seating is limited. The shop setup is very simple, but the selection of ice cream and flavored cones were top notch. I got a lavender cone, which FYI does indeed taste like you’re eating a bouquet of lavender but in the best way, just be prepared. I got a scoop of blueberry cheesecake and “C” is for cookie, beware the coloring in the “C” is for cookie will stain your mouth, teeth, hands, and basically anything it comes into contact with, it was delicious but I do not recommend this flavor unless this is your last stop for the night. It will also..ahem..dye any subsequent number 2’s a bright and alarming shade of green so just be aware of that too.

I gotta give these guys some credit, because there are thousands of ice cream shops found far and wide across the country, and yet Lakeland Ice Cream Co has still found a way to stand out from your typical ice cream place. They have dozens of flavors to pick from, it’s so hard to choose because they have some really interesting, truly unique flavors that you don’t see a lot so you want to try all of them, lol. They have some fun specials as well, they are known for their “ice cream burrito” where they wrap the ice cream in cotton candy! They have “ice cream nachos” as well, where the chips are pieces of waffle cone, it’s so creatively fun. What I thought was neat too was that they had at least 8-9 different flavors of waffle cones- they came in a couple different colors and are homemade, it was a nice extra touch. I will say the prices are a little higher than preferred, but the ice cream was so splendid it’s WORTH it! I got the mexican hot chocolate and I couldn’t even believe how good it was! It was so chocolatey, yet there was a kick of cayenne at the end, and it was crazy to me that they made that into ice cream. My dad got the garbage can ice cream, and it has 7 different candy bars in it, and you could quite literally taste every individual one. This is such a cool place, I was so impressed!

My granddaughter loves this place. Great customer service and the ice cream flavors are all so yummy. I love the house made cones. We try to visit each time she has a Doctors appt. It’s so worth the drive from Winter Haven. That we came by today just because we wanted yummy Ice cream

I used to love coming into this place until they got a new staff. Tall blonde needs to learn some customer service because every time i go in there i tell them its going go be a while and they will nonstop STARE at me the entire time. i go in i always get at least 3 different cups and ive never been offered to-go until the one time they offered me a lid then rudely told me “you shouldve told us before we scooped it” like as if i knew that. this time i was trying to be really nice was just genuinely curious what flavors they had in the back because i was craving raspberry sorbet and she straight up told me “im not doing that.” totally understand setting boundaries but could you at least be a little nicer about it.. i see constant reviews about how nice everyone is but the only nice people ive gotten so far are the guys that work occasionally.
