Ordered ala carte chicken & beef seekh kebabs and plain tandoori roti. Served with fresh lime and white onions. Food is flavorful but not too spicy. Generous portions at this price! They also have complimentary hot chai

Impressed with the delicious plate of lamb briyani. A quite unassuming shop but the briyanni is really tasty and value for money. I wished they offer some curry with the briyani, maybe we’re used to it in SEA.

The food is very flavorful. I got the #15, lamb tikka and lamb kofta. The tikka is tender and juicy.

This Pakistani restaurant serves seriously tasty food in a diner-style setting. We tried the halwa-puri thaali – the puris were fresh and fluffy , and the halwa was just the right amount of sweet ( thankfully not a sugar bomb!).

There was also a zingy canned lemonade, and a delicious goat curry with tender meat and a delicious gravy. The garlic naans were huge – though they turned a bit tough after sitting for a while ( our fault, we were too busy nattering away to eat them right away).

The chana in the thaali was a highlight – super soft chickpeas swimming in a tasty, if slightly oily gravy. Service was quick and low-key.

Overall, a comforting meal that we will happily come back for – just maybe eat the naan while it’s hot next time!

Very disappointing experience at Lahori Restaurant.

First, I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala (a vegetarian dish), but found pieces of meat mixed into it. This is completely unacceptable, especially for vegetarians. Such mistakes show serious issues with food handling and kitchen processes.

On top of that, the cleanliness was poor. The plate had visible water on it , I had to use a napkin to wipe it dry myself. The spoons were dirty with marks on them, and even the jug handle had visible hand marks. Basic hygiene standards were clearly not maintained.

Service was also lacking. There was no one at the check-in counter when we arrived. We had to call out multiple times before someone showed up. It appeared they were severely understaffed, with one person handling serving, counter duties, and everything else.

Overall, the experience felt disorganized and careless. I hope management addresses these issues seriously. I would not return based on this visit.

Came here for lunch, the lunch time special was quickly prepared, there is self serve free tea too. If they had provided sauces or chutneys the food have been more complete. Parking lot is very busy at lunch times and hard to find parking. The seating capacity is limited.

I recently ordered two lunch specials to go from Lahori, expecting a satisfying Indian Pakistani cuisine experience, but unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. Firstly, the price was exorbitant at $17/18 per lunch special. For this price point, I expected exceptional quality, which was not delivered.

The saag paneer lacked flavor and tasted bland, failing to meet even basic expectations for this classic dish. Additionally, the eggplant curry was excessively oily, leaving a greasy residue that was unappetizing. The portion of rice provided was meager, barely filling the container, which was quite surprising considering the cost.

To add to the disappointment, they only serve half a naan bread accompanying the plates, it was hard and cold, as if it had been sitting out for far too long. The overall presentation and quality of the food were subpar, especially given the premium prices charged.

In conclusion, for the amount paid, the quality of the food fell short on every front, from taste to presentation. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a genuine and satisfying Indian Pakistani dining experience in San Jose.

Consistently delicious, new faves are fish curry and mixed tandoori. Flavors are spot on, ingredients fresh, ample portions, excellent selections, and owner cares about quality counter dining experience.
Be sure to visit and try them out!
