This place is awesome! I was pleasantly surprised to go on a night where there was a fun band and fresh seafood samples! The space is open and classy, but not something you would need to get dressed up for. The vibes were excellent, the guacamole was freshly made to perfection and the service was incredible. We were greeted and seated immediately even though it was a full house. The traveler cocktail was my favorite and of course their wines are always top notch. I highly recommend this place for a fun night of pre/post dinner drinks and appetizers!

We are members of the winery and were excited to check out this new wine bar. It’s a great ambiance inside and they offer a different wine tasting lineup. The beers, cocktails, and food are all good! And they are open later.

Great spot in Newberg! The wine is fantastic and there is a lot to choose from—great flights. The staff are friendly and super knowledgeable but not in a pretentious way. Shout out to Sam and Sophie for the above-and-beyond service!

Something about this place, just seems repetitive. On top of that, it’s always a bad sign when you contact the business directly to their main contact, but they don’t even check it. I mean how good can the wine be? There are so many other great options with beautiful views nearby. I can’t understand why anybody would go here, but I can understand why I’ve never heard anybody mention this place or say that they should go there. Maybe someday they’ll find a way to mix things up a bit and draw some folks in? I doubt it, especially if they don’t answer their phone or email

We visited for the first time today. A very pleasant atmosphere, service was fast and friendly, we shared a burger and fries it was as expected..
The live music was presented by Victor and had some performances by several locals.. very nice time and we will definitely return.. price point on food was on upper side but within reason.. family friendly for sure!

First off all the staff here are super friendly! I recently revisited this place and they are so spacious now. They have outdoor patio seating and two spacious rooms for indoor seating. Their patio area is neat, very nice, and relaxing to be out there on a warm day.
The wine here isn’t cheap but pretty tasty. The tasting fee is $20, which will waive if you are buying a bottle or more. I didn’t get anything this time besides the tasting because I was on a bike. They do offer some snacks like cheese plates, nuts, and other things to munch on. Some evenings they offer game night and live music. Check them out if you are in Newberg!

Located in the charming downtown of Newberg, the Chahalem Winery Tasting Room is situated inside of a brick building that used to be an auto mechanic shop, now turned into a hip, open air space. Great atmosphere, and we were told that they used to hold a variety of events in pre-covid times. We had a chilly tasting outdoors under a tent. I brought my own blanket, so we stayed warm enough on an icy grey winter day. The wine host was knowledgeable and very welcoming and friendly. The wines were of high quality and complexity. They had just released the 2020 Rose, which was our absolute favorite of the tasting. The 2018 Reserve Pinot was very good too, and recommended for die-hard Oregon Pinot drinkers. Overall, a great wine tasting location. We were grateful to have this experience opportunity during the pandemic.

Went there for Bingo, loved it when it was Chehalem. With Stoller, the chips were stale. I and my husband won Bingo but was told Othwise. Treated horribly, never again.
