Delicious meal! Their meatballs and sauce are pretty damn close to the ones my family make (possibly the best meatballs I have ever had at a restaurant), the pizza is a must with pepperoni and red sauce- and the salad was perfection.

Delicious Italian food in a cool indoor and outdoor setting. There is a very big patio with fire and plenty of tables, as well as a very nice indoor area. The food was great…loved the lobster gnocchi! The service was excellent. All around great experience…will definitely be back!

Lago you will never go wrong! All the food is absolutely delicious! This is my wife and I 4th time around and each time we get something else to try out the entire menu. We have no tried every appetizer and they all deserve 5 stars. But ONE APPETIZER I got this time and doing the review is the vegan meatballs because the sauce is so tomatoey and the vegan meatballs in a blind taste test I would never know it’s not meat! My wife got salmon with mashed potatoes and pea protein, and honestly after being in some fancy restaurants in Cleveland, Lago makes the perfect salmon with the perfect mashed potatoes and that pea protein is ugh! Amazing! Something that blew my mind is…thank you to our server AMY, is vegan wellington which was beyond greatness! One thing I want to add is the pizzas here, oh my, it ain’t just average Cleveland pizza. A great place to come on sundays around 8-9pm not a lot of people. Fairly calm on the streets to sit outside, very nice overall.

I RARELY ever write bad reviews as I was a restaurant manager and a server myself. However, this one is felt necessary. The atmosphere is nice but the food, and the service were both bad. We waited 1 hour and 20 mins for our food to even come out because the waitress forgot to put our order in. And when the food finally came out it was some of the most bland food we’ve ever tasted. The avocado tacos has BROWNish avocados and (no flavor), the veggie frittata had the tiniest amount of veggies and literally 1 potato piece. Also had no flavor. The chicken and waffles were OK. The chicken breading has no seasoning and no taste but at-least the waffles were good. The burger we had was fine. We started with these yummy biscuits and our server brought out tater tots to help keep us happy while waiting for food to make up for the mistake. But really I’m sorry this was just such a sad experience. The manager came out to take off half our bill, which was really kind. She asked if we’d like anything else, and I couldn’t fathom waiting for more bland food really so we declined. So Sad. I’d never come back.
