First time here and we loved it!
We sat in the bar and were greeted fast by the bartender, drinks ordered and chips and salsa came next. Honestly the salsa was just ok but we get it people here don’t like spicy! My skinny margarita was tasty and our food was hot fresh and flavorful!!!! Honestly we did not know what to expect but this place delivers ❤️ I can’t wait to go back and try so many items from the menu. GV honestly sucks for a good restaurant but this spot just might be our new favorite.
Seriously thank you to our 2 bartenders/servers for a wonderful experience!

This is more of an “alta cocina” mexican restaurant. They do way more than the basic tacos and enchiladas. Their seafood dishes are excellent and they even serve liver which my wife enjoyed. Yes they can get pretty busy as it’s popular and not a big dining area. If you want a quick taco, you might look elsewhere. But if you want to choose from an extensive menu and get something mexican that doesn’t just have cheese, beans and tortillas, this is by far the best place in Green Valley.

Great Mexican food in the area, we all loved our food, and drinks! The staff was very nice and attentive. He even helped us figure out how to make a dish gluten free… And it was delicious! I had the shrimp enchiladas with the green sauce instead of the red sauce which has flour, so happy we caught this so I didn’t get sick I have to mention the great Cadillac margaritas, great taste and big portions made us very happy. We were visiting and this is our local friend’s favorite place, we can see why.

Food didn’t seem. As good as previous visits. Seemed just average. Servers were very polite but had to be reminded to bring silverware and sides.

It’s always a pleasure to eat here. Great service, tasty food, and Tuesday was $5 margaritas on the summer special.
Went for a birthday dinner this Friday. Still the best shrimp tacos I’ve found and my husband loves the tamales smothered in sauce and cheese.

I’ve been Los Agaves enough times to write that it’s one of my favorite restaurants in the Green Valley area. Their food is always tasty, and their service and atmosphere are consistently excellent. What I really like are their various specials on certain days—like tacos on Tuesday and enchiladas on Fridays, etc. It really makes it worth it to try out the different items on their menu.

I liked the atmosphere and food. I ordered the chimichanga enchilada style with a side of guacamole and sour cream. The red sauce was good. The atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon is chill. It seems like many of the neighborhood residents come to hang out drink, watch TV, and eat. There was only person who was tending the bar and taking orders. He did an awesome job and was very friendly.

The service, food and atmosphere were excellent. They are quite reasonably priced as well. Would definitely recommend Los Agaves!

The food here is both reasonable and tasty. The servers vary in quality. When we arrived our second time, we were greeted by an elderly woman who did not even bother to come down the ramp to where we were but waved us from a distance to follow her to the table. Bad knees? The decor is intimate and shady. You are brought mediocre bulk bag-type chips and a good salsa right away. Both our servers were prompt and our most recent one was very efficient. The chicken fajitas were very good, with excellent refried beans. The platter was only missing a dollop of guacamole and some cheese. We ordered guacamole on the side and it was good. Unlike most places of this type, there are many dessert options. We tried the flan which was only slightly overcooked and tasty.

First time at this restaurant. First time having chili rellenos. I don’t want to order another one. The guests I was with did not like this restaurant and the food was not good. They won’t be returning. I didn’t think it was THAT bad but definitely had better Mexican food.
