Breakfast bagels here are amazing. I have tried the salmon and egg bagel a few times and it’s so good. The coffee and drinks menu has some good variety and they have several house made syrup options. Service was quick even on a busy morning. The only thing to keep in mind is the limited / tight parking.

Never been to a bagel shop that didn’t offer plain bagels with butter/jam. Sign says bagels/coffee, so if it was a coffee shop with bagels, I’d give it a pass. Tried to order something without eggs but they wanted to still charge me for eggs. In this economy. Had the hummus and veggies. Didn’t include lettuce as described but didn’t miss it. Generous amount of avocado. Hummus tasted like red pepper Sabra, which I like. Bagel was soft and good. Coffee was good. Menu items popular with folks was out that day. Not a cozy place. Was planning on hunkering down for a couple hours, but none of the seating was inviting. Stayed just for the meal. Music was on point: 80s and 90s mix. Odd set up with huge kitchen area but food comes from behind the building. Staff not rude. Not friendly. Just collecting a paycheck I suppose. Outdoor seating I guess for those who want privacy because seating area isn’t much bigger than behind the counter/kitchen? area and sound carries. Not opposed to coming back if a friend wants to meet there, but not planning to return.

Labyrinth is such a pretty, spotless café. We arrived just before the crowd and were lucky to snag a table—it filled up fast! Even with the rush, orders came out impressively quick. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the bustling vibe feel fun instead of stressful.

The coffee is rich and delicious, and the bagels are not only tasty but huge—definitely worth the hype. I did feel a little rushed since so many people were waiting for tables, but that’s a sign of a thriving spot. Highly recommend for great coffee, big bagels, and lively energy.

Labyrinth is one of those rare spots that gets everything right — the atmosphere, the food, and the experience. From the moment I walked in, it felt welcoming, calm, and thoughtfully curated. The space is cozy without being cramped, creative without trying too hard — the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. You can tell care and intention go into what they serve. Pair that with great coffee and friendly service, and it’s honestly the perfect breakfast/brunch stop.

This is the type of place you come back to — whether you’re meeting a friend, working quietly, or just treating yourself to a really good morning. Labyrinth instantly became one of my favorite spots in the area. Highly recommend!

While I came across a review mentioning that the bagels here were overpriced, there’s an important detail that wasn’t highlighted—each bagel is substantial enough for two people to share! They’re large, hearty, and incredibly filling. On top of that, the coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is ideal for working remotely or tackling some homework. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy both productivity and a satisfying meal.

I hardly go to McAllen, but I happened to be in the area so I searched for a coffee place to have lunch and ended up here. I had the smoke salmon bagel with chips and an ice vanilla latte with oat milk. It was busy, but they were fast in getting orders out and the both the bagel and latte were delicious. I will definitely have to make a trip back. It’s a super cute spot with great music as well.

Cute little house turned bagel shop! I got the smoked salmon bagel and while it was pretty tasty, I thought it needed more salmon and capers. The egg flavor was overwhelming. The inside is cute enough but seating is not the most comfortable. But from an owner standpoint it would be easy to clean! I can’t remember what drink I had but it was good. I would return here again!

Food was sooo good! The bagels were so filling and with a log of flavor. I loved my iced latter as well, I ordered it with lavender syrup and agave sweetener, super good.
