I went to DoubleH BBQ recently when I was craving a pulled pork sandwich. I found this restaurant via google search of BBQ near me. The google rating was high so I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The service was great but the food was some of the worst BBQ I have tried. Maybe they were having an off day. The pulled pork was dried out and the overall seasoning of everything from sides to sauce was off. Either there was not enough salt, too much salt, or overly sweet. Definitely, better BBQ options in Lexington.

Great smoked meats and sides. Usually a very busy place, so order ahead or get there early. Their smoked wings are exceptional! Some of the best around. Prices are fair and portions are pretty good. Love the potato salad and their kicken chicken noodles soup.

Place was absolutely outstanding! I live very close but didn’t realize it was in this shopping center with OReillys! Finally went and got the brisket sandwich with the jacked Mac and cheese and tater tots and let me tell you that jacked Mac and cheese was FANTASTIC! Everything was very good and quick and great prices! Will definitely be back.
PS: I’m from Alabama and they have a great Alabama white sauce! So if you also are from Alabama or love Alabama white sauce they’re making a good one!

Visiting from out of town and was looking for someplace that served up some Burgoo. I first tried burgoo at Churchill Downs and really enjoyed the taste. I saw an article online listing Double H BBQ as one of the top burgoo locations in Lexington and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Their burgoo was broth based and what I was looking for. Also tried the white chicken chili, green beans and a small brisket sandwich. Everything I tried was good and made my belly happy.

This place is great I’ve been going here for lunch for a few days and everything I’ve eaten is really good. They have the BEST Cuban Sandwich and that’s coming from a cuban from Florida. Hands down the best cuban I’ve ever had. The wings are great the ribs are super soft, fall off the bone, and delicious. My favorite side was the onion rings and potatoe salad. The people are nice. Will come again if I’m ever in the area.

Best BBQ in Lex. On Wednesday the special is 50 cent smoked wings. They are delicious. I love their homemade mild bbq sauce. Has a nice light bite and not sweet. I’d buy it if I could.

Brisket sandwich was good, the mac and cheese was a little too spicy for me, I didnt really like the potato salad only took one bite. Although I thought their hot sauce was amazing! The hot sauce on the table alone makes the trip worth it. I liked the sauce and the brisket enough to give it 4 stars
