The view of the Nile was delightful as the sun set. The ambience was impeccable. The food was average though. I would come for the view.

We had dinner at La Zisa during our stay at The St. Regis Cairo, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The food was absolutely delicious—authentic Italian flavors, beautifully presented, and everything we tried was spot-on. But what really made the evening special was the level of service and attention we received from the team.
A big thank you to Rodina from the culinary reservation desk for her kind help and for making sure everything was arranged perfectly for us. She was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Also, a special thanks to Mostafa, our waiter, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a smooth and enjoyable dinner.
We were also dining with our 1-year-old daughter, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everyone made sure she was comfortable and that we had everything we needed—it really made us feel at home.
Thank you again to the entire La Zisa team for such a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This hotel is the most beautiful I have ever seen, with a stunning view. We also had breakfast there, which was fantastic. No reservation is needed, and everything is delicious. They even make hot falafel on request, as the cold ones aren’t very good—the hot, freshly made ones are amazing. There’s a huge variety of food, from Middle Eastern to Asian dishes, and even some European options, so there’s something for everyone. The ceilings are very high, so sound disperses and you almost forget you’re in Cairo with all its city noise.

This place has a pretty view but that’s it. The lobster past legitimately had the worst piece of lobster I’ve ever had and when we sent it back they sent out another piece that was just as bad. It was mushy. The pizza is horrible and the portions are tiny. This place is insanely overpriced and has very bad food do not eat here. As an apology they sent out free desert and it had hair on it . Just the cherry on top.

The ’Seasonal Healthy Salad’, followed by ’Spaghetti Ai Pomodoro’t and concluded with a cup of dense fragrant aromatic coffee, which perfectly accompanied the mascarpone cream based ’Tiramisu’, everything was delicious, fabulous and top presented.
I had a fantastic culinary experience in a tranquil quiet environment and I wish all gourmets of Italian cuisine in Cairo to make this experience. Believe me, you won’t regret it.
In conclusion I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to each and every member of the ’La Zisa chain’ who made it possible for us to make such beautiful taste experiences.
