Excellent food, great buffet, terrific service. The chef came out and made sure the steak was cooked correctly and explained why it tasted so good. Ruth’s Chris should be taking advice from this chef. I was honestly floored with the taste and quality of the steak. This business is an excellent addition to the community and surrounding area. The only issue I can see is people do not realize they do not have to go to Madison or Dubuque to get a top of the line dinner at less than half the price. The drinks from the bar were good as well and priced right!!

Just like the old supper clubs! Great salad bar, was well stocked and fresh. The seafood buffet was great with cod, catfish, shrimp, fried chicken, and pork chops that I cut with my fork! The absolute best tasting and biggest slab of prime rib I’ve ever seen!!!!!!!! Service was impeccable. Place could be updated but was very, very clean. We will make the 3 hour drive again just to eat the prime rib again 🙂

Went on a Saturday night for their Prime rib, shrimp, cod and froglegs. Prime Rib was cut in large slices and was very tender. The batter on the shrimp was light and tasty. They had the best frog legs I have ever had – nice coating and moist and meaty legs. Salad bar variety was good. We drove 40 minutes and we will be back!

The Red Zone is a hidden gem (except for the locals) in Highland WI. Don’t expect elegance from the decor but the food exceeds all expectations. We didn’t order the 22 Oz Porterhouse steak special but enjoyed the aroma of the steaks being grilled outside the back door. We saw several people enjoying their steaks…they looked amazing. We ordered Friday night seafood buffet. The salad bar was well stocked with fresh veggies and cheese. The clam chowder and chicken with wild rice soups were both delicious. The buffet included shrimp, cod, catfish, chicken and even frog legs….all were awesome. You can also order from the menu. Topped off by friendly staff and a well stocked bar. We highly recommend.

A beer, burger/fries and a trip through the salad bar was $45. That’s pretty dang pricey for a small town bar. Food was 33, didn’t take cards so I had to go across the street to the gas station, paid 2 ATM fee, probably 3 cash advance fee PLUS tip. Literally could have gotten their all you can eat prime rib and shrimp for 31 and that included the salad bar. Decent burger but fries tasted of the previous nights fish fry so only ate a few.
