I found a rare European French–style café in the neighborhood. I stopped by Eden Auto for car repairs and decided to look for a café nearby while waiting, and that’s how I discovered La Valse des Fleurs. I originally thought it was a bank, but I was told it opened just last October.

As soon as I walked in, French chansons were playing, and even while simply enjoying a cup of coffee, I felt a true sense of French atmosphere. It was incredibly relaxing—an absolute healing spot. The decorative objects throughout the café are beautiful, the coffee tastes great, and the owner is genuinely kind. The sofa was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up.

Hands down, this is the best café I’ve visited in a long time. Definitely a place I want to come back to often.

Every detail in this place is perfectly crafted to make you feel special.
The aesthetic of the place is beautiful; it invites you to stay and have a pleasant and meaningful conversation with your friends. We tried three different matcha drinks; the one I liked the most was the mango one. The desserts were delicious. I will definitely come back to try the brunch items soon.

A HIDDEN GEM! An absolutely gorgeous French café, from the music to the décor to the coffee, every detail is thoughtfully curated.

I had a goat milk coffee infused with rose syrup and cardamom. It’s delicate, fragrant, and topped with rose petals. Truly something special.
A perfect spot for some peaceful alone time or a cozy catch-up with friends.

There’s also a private room available for groups of 9 or more, perfect for gatherings or small events.
Outdoor seating is an option too.
There’s plently parking both out back and on the street.

Such a lovely café! Still in it’s early stages, I went in during their soft opening today, but had a great experience nonetheless. I had their Fleur de Cassis and the rose, cardamom latte, and both were delectable with a gorgeous presentation. Ample sitting spaces, a fresh and flowy vibe with charming music on the speakers. And a grandfather clock that still works! The building used to be a bank, so there’s a parking lot in the back, but that shouldn’t even be necessary with all the street parking available in the area. Overall beautiful café, a shiny hidden gem. I can’t wait to come back for a coffee with my girlfriends or a quiet date with my special other.

I honestly can’t believe I just found this hidden gem! My friend and I went in for an early dinner and we loved the intimidate vibe. It’s so bright and airy inside but manages to feel really cozy at the same time. The interior is stunning!

We shared the beef bourguignon with the creamy potatoes which was delicious, the presentation was almost too pretty to eat. We also got the mushroom gratin because it was freezing outside, and it was so cheesy and hit the spot perfectly. Also, do not skip the berry delight crepe for dessert!!

The craziest part is we were having such a good time we didn’t even realize they closed at 5pm. We stayed way past that and the staff was so sweet and didn’t even rush us out. I felt so bad when I realized later! Definitely check the store hours before you go! We went on a week night and they closed a little earlier that day.

I took a slice of basque cheesecake home for my husband (or for me…) and I’m so glad I did. They even packaged warm chocolate to add on top of the cake. We enjoyed every bite of it!

La Valse Des Fleurs is truly a hidden gem where you can enjoy brunch, lunch, coffee, tea, dessert, or dinner! It’s not in a busy area and they have their own parking lot right there, which is a huge plus! Can’t wait to come back for brunch.

This is such a beautiful place to grab a healthy meal or a quick French pastry. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was planning on hosting my annual holiday party with about 20 ladies. Unfortunately, due to some with food allergies we will do our usual pot luck. I wanted to take more pictures of the inside but their were other customers there and I didn’t want to bother anyone. You must check it out for yourself.

You can tell this place is a labor of love. The cappuccino comes in a mug with your birth month’s flower (pictured). How CUTE! It’s perfect for getting work done but I also can’t wait to go to brunch with friends. Big windows with lots of natural lighting during the day. Everything has been super tasty so far (cappuccino, mocha, cardamom/goat milk signature drink, ham and cheese croissant, fresh pastries, etc!!). Presentation 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, service 10/10

A beautiful elegant space, serving tasty coffee from a Modbar espresso machine dream setup. If coffee doesn’t speak to you, no sweat, indulge in delicious savory and sweet treats. The Croque Madame was divine. A MUST VISIT!

Amazon new spot on Hudson street, englewood. Terrific collection of delectable ( not to sweet) deserts run by a Belarusian couple, in my opinion even better than balthazaar! The properietar is a world class Michelin star baker who has been awarded several presidential awards!

Gorgeous cafe, it’s like I stepped into Paris! The soft music and flowers are great. The cake and the rose latte were excellent too. Can’t wait to try other drinks and cakes on the menu. Highly recommend!
