4 out of 5 Stars because I have yet to try the rest of the food! Service was amazing, presentation of the food was very appealing, the food itself was hot, delicious and portions were perfect. Now I did try 3 things I didn’t finish all of them but let me tell you I wish I could have, but hey lunch for tomorrow! I will be returning soon to try the rest of the menu. I also had an Agua Fresca De Sandía, but below are the photos of what I ate and loved!! Perfectly seasoned, the papusa was sooooo good crispy on the outside melted, flavorful goodness on the inside!

My buddies went and said they enjoyed the food there. They had churrasco, chuchitos, and agua de Pina. They said it was very delicious. Best Guatemalan flavor in IL. I must go and check it out now and give you my review.

UPDATE:
I finally went to check it out. Small place but they just opened so I wish them the best so that their business grows.
I tried churrasco and it was amazing! Big plate so I did get full. If you are the type that at a buffet you can serve yourself more than one full plate then you would be good with this plate but if you only serve yourself once then I would say share your plate with someone else. I will be posting the pics in a few.
My buddies – one had a Guatemalan tamale and boy is it delicious!!! Mmmm…..
The other had a Chile relleno de pollo( chicken) and again delicious!!!!
I must say the place is small, they have 5 small tables. But you can order to pick up or eat there if it is not too busy.
You must try it. Drinks are natural pineapple and watermelon. Tortillas are hand made.

Small place but delicious Guatemalan food did not disappoint very happy to find a place near by no bathrooms it’s in a small corner plaza and parking is limited but definitely give this place a try if you are in the area very satisfying awesome staff

I’m a truck driver and found this guys on TikTok! So I looked them up and find out they are only 15 minutes from the yard where my company parks their truck so I park on the yard and got on my personal vehicle to go check them out and yes the TikTokrs it’s the first one I saw when I walked in and welcoming. Order two pupusas and a pollo con papas. Yes it might take them a while to bring your food out but it’ll come out fresh cooked and hot… I wish I took picture of the pupusa before it was gone…

The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because they don’t have a menu posted. My husband and I tried the chiles rellenos and the empanadas. The peppers where very tasty, stuffed with shredded chicken. The empanadas for me needed a little more crunch but they were good. Watermelon and pineapple water was real fruit not powder mix, very refreshing. Good luck!

The food was fantastic and delicious! My food tasted so good that it felt so fresh like it was made to order. I recommend the desayuno Chapin (Guatemalan Breakfast) and Chuchito (like a tamale with chicken inside), which is what I ordered. The one thing I would have liked was a Pepsi because when I think of Guatemalan food, I think of Pepsi for the beverage to drink.

This is my second time ordering from here through DoorDash, and they have the best pupusas I’ve ever had! Their costillas de puerco en salsa are also amazing. I’m planning to visit the restaurant in person soon so I can try their drinks.
