We have been coming here for many years, still venture out to outer new spots but always have returned because hands down this is the best Mexican food in annapolis, also very allergy friendly. Customer service is always 110% here. My wife had the queso and a taco salad with chicken and put some of the queso on top. I had the chips and salsa and a tricolor burrito. The deserts here are extra delicious sorry didn’t photograph my banana cheesecake chimichanga as I come up for air.
We also like that we can order off menu like our margaritas pick a tequila from over 80 make it skinny with fresh squeezed juice. Ask for Laura or don’t because they are all fantastic!

Really cool atmosphere and excellent food and drinks. Love the margaritas, fresh guacamole, and enchiladas suizas. Went on a Saturday and they had great live music. This is our go-to for good Mexican food!

La Sierra – Lunch Olympics Edition
Welcome to the midday games.
Event 1: Ribeye (Lunch Division, Medium Attempt)
Difficulty level: High.
Executing a true medium ribeye at lunch speed? That’s like landing a triple axel in work boots. Did it stick perfectly? Not quite. But the effort? Strong. Respectable sear. Solid flavor. Judges award a 9.1 for courage and a 9.3 for flavor commitment.
Event 2: La Sierra Margarita
This one ran away with gold. Crisp, balanced, no syrupy nonsense. Clean citrus, smooth tequila, proper rim. It didn’t just compete — it dominated.
Unanimous 10s from the judges.
La Sierra Marg FTW.
Event 3: Chips & Salsa + Rice & Beans Combo
Steady performance. Reliable fundamentals. Good footwork. Salsa brought heat without fouling out. Beans held formation.
Atmosphere & Bar Vibes
Strong showing. Bartender working the room, bottles gleaming like Olympic torches. Casual but focused. No sloppy penalties.

Overall Score: 4.5 Stars
La Sierra doesn’t just serve lunch — they compete.
And today? They made the podium.
Cue the anthem.

Love La Sierra! Stopped in for brunch today after my morning swim at the olympic swim center. Always a pleasure! We’re eat here at least once a week and we’re always pleased. The staff is kind. The drinks are great, especially the spicy margaritas and iced tea. The food’s outstanding. In our opinion, they have the most authentic Mexican food in the area. I haven’t had mole this good since my recent trip to Mexico City. You won’t be disappointed! – Carolina & Bill

Great ambience, excellent service, and amazing food. I love the street tacos and margaritas the best…. Hard not to fill up on their home made chips and salsa but please don’t as the food is outstanding. I live just down the street and am so thankful it’s this close. I would drive half an hour it was further away.
