Hands down the best sushi in the Coachella Valley! The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes the whole dining experience feel special. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. A highlight of the night was when the chef personally came by our table—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly valued. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and artfully prepared. Can’t wait to come back

We ate here twice within 10 days. The sushi is very good! The fish is fresh and the plates are beautifully presented. The purple rice is a fun twist to the rolls. The staff and the decor are exceptional. The restaurant has a beautiful casual and weloming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowlegeable. Coral Sushi is by far the best sushi restaurant we’ve been to in the Palm Desert, Indian Wells and La Quinta area. Don’t miss out- visit this gem in the desert!

Went for Happy Hour to check the restaurant out. Arrived just before 4. Not many in the restaurant. Friendly greeting. Sat outside. After about 5 minutes, someone came out and brought us water. Had to ask for menus. Took about another 10 minutes before our server came to take our order. Ordered a few items off the HH menu. Prices seemed reasonable. However, when itens arrived, 2 pieces of sushi, one piece of tempura, and one item never showed up. Rather shocking considering there were only a few at the restaurant. Food, so-so, prices steep for what we got at HH. Miso soup $6.50 at HH?
Won’t be back.

Booked for NYE dinner. Arrived a little early and asked if they had room for us or would they prefer we go elsewhere. They said it was fine now but seemed very begrudgingly, shown to a table by the toilet which seemed to be the place to shove the tourists out the way.

Food was distinctly average. Beef skews were the highlight, calamari was chewy and very heavily battered, fried rice was stodgy and very wet with the most flavoursome ingredient being the egg, katsu curry wasn’t as expected.

Service was sometimes good, but we’re left waiting for long periods.

Have a weird concept of one male toilet and one gender neutral toilet, which is fine except it meant as a women you had to put down the toilet seat and step through a small puddle of urine which was not particularly pleasant.

Went last night with some friends and had a blast! Highly recommend the steak skewers – OMG! I also had the California rolls which were also good and the teriyaki chicken was tender and flavorful as well but I’m telling you, the steak skewers are the way to go!! Oh, the service was good too – JaBell was our server (hope l’m spelling her name right) and she was nice and quick and made sure we had a good time. Great place for a date night! Or even just a place to chill and relax in a cozy atmosphere. Overall, 9.5 out of 10!

Best sushi I’ve had in the desert. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service and recommendations, beautiful presentation and the sushi is fresher than 98% of places by the beach in socal. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great sushi in the desert.

Let me start by saying we had a nice experience here. The staff are very sweet, but the prices are crazy expensive. Way too expensive for what you get. Hopefully the owners will read this and change their prices. The fish was fresh and everything tasted great. But not $$$$ great.

Very disappointed. Just picked a to go order.
Steak skewers.. Black and burnt and inedible .
I could smell the burnt smell in the car driving home. They probably burnt them and thought they’d throw in a to go order, because no one would accept them in the restaurant.,
Teriyaki Chicken .. flavorless
Kimchi Fried rice was also flavorless and tasted nothing like the dish we had last year.
Cucumber salad also bland.
We “ate in” last year and did not care for the Sushi so we thought we’d give it another try and ordered off the cooked menu. Last year the Kimchi fried rice was delicious, so I was
anxious to try again, huge disappointment.
$80 with tip.
Never go back and never recommend.
