So much more space than the Tampa location. Less selection of cookies but Cuban tastes just as good and possibly slight heftier. Guava cheese flip is absolutely delicious and cafe con leche hits right where it needs to

DELICIOUS. Fast moving Counter service bakery and sandwiches. Had fast moving line the entire time we were there. Had sticky bun, Cinnamon bun, sausage and egg cubano, avacado egg and sun dried tomato cubano and a Cuban coffee. All fantastic.

La Segunda came highly recommended by friends in the area. They weren’t kidding. 🙂 Tried the famous “Tampa Cuban” sandwich…sorry 305, love you forever but I’m sold on Tampa now, LOL.

I had high hopes when walking in here. The atmosphere is inviting and the selection of baked goods in the window is beautiful. I ordered a meal with a pastry. Unfortunately, that’s where the experience went south. The pastry I got was hard and burned. I couldn’t even break off a tiny piece. I went to the counter and told the cashier that it was hard and burned and she said it’s supposed to be that way. I told her we weren’t even going to be able to eat it because it’s burned and hard as rock. I asked if I would have to buy another pastry and she said yes. I paid almost $20 for one sandwich and a pastry with a drink, and added a tip. It was incredibly frustrating to receive such bad customer service on top of a burned, expensive pastry. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich was pretty good. I would have loved to be a regular here because they seem to have a lot to offer, but this experience definitely turned me off to the idea of returning.

I am a regular customer, and in the time that I have been spending here I have never been treated in the way that one of your employees has treated me. The girl currently has red braids and I can tell you that a dry person without education does not work for customer service. not a Good morning nothing, my order was to consume it in the store. Therefore, you should have a little more sympathy for the client. Don’t throw food away like it’s an object. Thank you very much. the quality of the food is still excellent

Best Cubans in St. Pete. We have been to many restaurants, and tried many Cuban sandwiches. The quality of the ingredients on these are top notch. Muffuletta sandwich is awesome also. Very fresh Cuban bread.

The Cuban sandwich is delicious and the coconut cake was to die for. The frosting tastes like a meringue frosting which was indescribably amazing. It had a cherry on top that is hard to describe, kinda like a gummy candy but 1000 times more wonderful. Can’t wait to go back next weekend!!!

I’ve lived in Tampa/St Petersburg since the mid-1950’s, on both sides of the bay, and have always been a fan of La Segunda. I’m really pleased that they have opened a St Petersburg location. My wife and I went for breakfast this morning and everything was perfect – great coffee, Cuban toast and pastries.
