This place has a great mixed plate. The portion size was enormous. It was a meal for two, but it really would be enough for four. The server was very polite and super attentive. The flavor was delicious and the complementary chips and salsa was on point! I would definitely give this restaurant a try.

This place has a very friendly staff and fun vibe that’s the only reason it’s not getting a 1 star. The food is over priced for what you are getting. Nor is it authentic by any stretch. As far as the food quality, the shrimp and vegetables are definitely fresh. Not only did we order a drink missing half of the drink but ordered food that came out wrong. When the server was asked if I got the correct meal she said it was her fault and rather than getting the correct plate she brought a side of the wrong dish. At this point I was irritated with everything that I accepted and boxed my food and paid my $70 tab. 2 meals 1 drink and an app. I probably wont be going back. Very disappointed

OMG finally a great Mexican restaurant with GREAT food, service and prices for food amazing. No more going to Bay St Louis for Mexican food. This place has it all and I am VERY picky. Got to try!!! You want be disappointed!!! Service great… it was really packed for a Monday night..best strawberry margaritas to die for… and they have the bean soup that I have not found anywhere in this area. We got the chicken and shrimp fajitas for one but was more than enough for both of us shrimp was huge!!!

La Rumba, the big splash in a small town. The decor and music were lively. As if that wasn’t enough, the waitstaff was knowledgeable and helpful. The wonderful staff brought us a 44oz margarita…..it’s really big! On top of the great drinks, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They have done fantastic updating the space. We look forward to many great times at La Rumba.

My husband and I are here a long time ago. It was better then. Prices have gotten really expensive for quality of food. Red Beans were really watery like soup, I asked for corn tortillas and got double flour on the tacos. Lettuce was iceberg. Chips and Salsa was the best thing we ate.

Expensive. Food was ok. Staff was pleasant. Restaurant was clean and comfortable. The chips and salsa provided for the table was good. A little spicy for me but we all still devoured them and got seconds. I ordered the steak fajitas and loved them. My daughters ordered fully loaded nachos one with chicken one with steak and they did not like them. I didn’t either the chips were burnt black around the edges and the food was dry(I believe they are placed in an oven once everything is on the nachos which sounds good in theory, but we didn’t like) my niece had a burrito with nothing on top she is young and not adventurous at all with her taste lol. We had to send it back because it had sauce and cheese on it but it was quickly fixed. She ate hers I ate mine my daughters food was barely eaten. I ordered myself and the girls “virgin daquiris” as I was driving and the girls are all underage. The drinks were large and tasted ok. Pricey though. If I went back (I don’t live in the area) I wouldn’t order the drinks. Or nachos. But wouldn’t discourage others from going I would only warn about the way the nachos are done (the oven thing). Otherwise we had a good time and the food was served quickly.

Great go-to restaurant in Diamondhead. Always great quality ingredients, top Mexican in the area for seasoning and taste (though not always spicy enough for me). Margaritas are pre-mixed and not the best, but okay if you like sweet mixers.
