It’s called Los Amigos Family Restaurant and Cantina now. If the rest of the food is like their fajitas, just pass it by. Ordered chicken fajitas, tasteless and over cooked. The corn tortillas were rubber after being microwaved. Could hear the microwave being used quite a bit. Had to flag down another server just to get a glass of water.
Won’t be returning here again.

I don’t normally eat Mexican food but now I will! We stopped in here on our way through town and it was great. I had steak fajitas that are the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant was clean and the people were friendly. Highly recommended!

The service is quick and they are super friendly. If you like hot sauce, try their hot sauce.. pretty good stuff. The chef will tell you its very hot, which is awesome.
Not sure what that one person is talking about. who gave a bad review.. Owning a business, I understand the value of reviews. People should only be able to put up a review after multiple visits but thats coming from a businessman.

Awesome fish tacos w/mango sauce & autentico Mexican beers! Got a free Margarita on my birthday as well. Also no longer LaPlayita, has been Los Amigos for a while now.

I had the red sauce chilaquiles Mexican breakfast… It was awesome! I was half expecting “Americano” version of Sonoran-style cooking. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised! I’m from Tucson, AZ the capital of Sonoran cooking and I KNOW different styles of Mexican food and I prefer the “spiciness” of Sonoran style.

My boyfriend order a beer and the one they served was expired. The food was extremely lackluster, my chicken enchiladas tasted bitter from freezer burn. the staff was friendly enough, but the service was rather slow despite the fact that there were only a few people in the entire restaurant. Sorry; just wasn’t very impressed at all..
