I recently tried food from QU Japan and honestly it was really disappointing. The food looked thrown together and didn’t taste fresh. The rice was dry and clumpy, like it had been sitting for a long time. The vegetables were overcooked and oily, and the beef pieces were chewy instead of tender. Even the egg on top tasted bland and rubbery. For the price, I expected much better quality. The portion wasn’t great either considering it’s mostly just rice with a small amount of toppings. The whole dish felt like something from a low-quality cafeteria rather than a Japanese restaurant. Overall the meal lacked flavor, freshness, and care in preparation. There are plenty of better options on Baltimore Avenue, so I probably wouldn’t come back.

First time coming here and wow! The broth tastes very authentic and really enjoyed the sushi taco. The seaweed was crispy and wrapped nicely with the food that was inside. They also have udon as an option for noodles but you’ll have to pay extra, not by much though. The atmosphere is also very lovely!

Yummy!!!
They have a lot of options here, but you’ll definitely find something to enjoy here. I got the tonkatsu miso ramen with udon noodles. The broth was hot and flavorful with good portions. You can also customize your ramen as much as you like, including spiciness! The inside is also very clean and neat. I got my food very quickly. Highly recommend this spot if you’ve got a craving for noodles :3

The Beef Teriyaki Ramen was delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty, and the teriyaki beef was tender and well-seasoned. The portion size was also very generous — definitely filling and satisfying.
I also tried their Sushi Nori Taco, which was surprisingly good. The nori was crispy and the ingredients inside were fresh, giving it a really nice texture and flavor combination.
Overall, the food tasted great and the portions were more than enough. If you enjoy Japanese ramen or want to try something a little different, This Restaurant is definitely worth checking out.

Our family really loves coming to Qu Japan. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. The ramen has a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles that we enjoy every time.
Their hibachi and sushi are also excellent — everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. No matter what we order, it’s always satisfying.
The service is wonderful as well. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make us feel very welcome. This has become one of our favorite places to eat, and we highly recommend it!

Wow. FAT FIVE STAR REVIEW. Baltimore Ave’s best. I had an amazing meal here with some friends and all of our dishes were incredible. This is a place I will be coming back to, not once but probably 5 more times over the course of my college career. This is the best asian food around College Park and that’s saying a lot because there are a lot of asian food places around here. I recommend the hibachi dishes

Food was just okay. I ordered a beef rice bowl and there was not much flavor. The beef was extremely fatty. I don’t feel the food quality lived up to the price (~$15). Store was clean and staff were friendly. Service a bit slow.
