You might not expect to find good Italian food deep in the heart of the Permian Basin, but check out La Piazza – it’s great. Reasonable prices, cozy atmosphere, attentive staff. The Calamari was so fresh and delicious. Great Chicken Parmesian, very creamy Alfredo sauce, hearty Lasagne, and so much more. Frequent surf n turf specials as well, Steak and Lobster tail during our visit.

Small, small little intimate place 8 to 10 tables. Very cozy, romantic and oh my gosh, fantastic food. We sampled our wine, bantered with the waitress, then sipped our wine with friends. Please remember that this is beautiful West Texas. Not known for its Italian food. But really the meal and experience was quite fantastic. Bring your own Vino. 10 dollar cork charge. But the atmosphere was quite fantastic. For a small, small town I am thankful for this place.

The food was very overpriced for what you get. The cook needs a new recipe for their chicken marsala, because brown gravy does not belong on it. The chocolate mousse cake was delicious, but for $7 I would expect a larger piece. My husband ordered a salad and got several slimy pieces. Overall, the experience was decent. Its cozy, the staff is friendly, but I wouldn’t come back for dinner. I would come back for that cake though.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. I also got to try escargot (snail) for the first time which was just absolutely incredible.

Out in Monahans for the last few days, last night out here and coworker and I decided to try this out. The food was amazing, service was great and friendly (despite both me and my coworker ordering items that weren’t exactly on the menu), they came and double checked how we wanted our food before bringing it out. While getting the food might have taken a little longer than some places, the food is very much worth the time it takes to get! If/when we come back again will be going back and trying new items!

Yum. It’s a little pricey but not outrageous. I discovered this place two weeks ago and have been back three times since then. My new favorite place. It’s my goal to try everything on the menu. So far I have sampled 2 appetizers, 9 entrees, 1 salad, and every dessert. Every single item has been delicious.

We had a huge to-go order and it took a little longer, but everyone enjoyed it. Personally, I had baked pasta, the cheese raviolis in marinara sauce. It’s was good, I just wish the marinara had more spices (sage, oregano) and that there had been more cheese on top (maybe mozzarella and parmesan). But I’m really nitpicking. I just had too many meals in Italy and Europe in general. For a restaurant in monahans, it was very decent.

Not a great experience this last go round unfortunately . I ordered the Greek gyro, which I have knowledge of because of living in Greece as a kid. The meat hard three hard bone fillers in it!! In one sandwich!! Not good, the feta/yogurt sauce you put on the sandwich was definitely a little bland. Just not great overall ☹️! I also ordered the chicken fettucinni Alfredo, the portion size was good, the sauce was bland for an Italian restaurant, the chicken breast was very flat, just a flat fettucinni overall. For the price I wouldn’t order it again. It’s sad to say because their lasagna was great and the Philly cheese steak was great last time. So I would go back, but stick to the lasagna. I would recommend checking out those issues !

We walked in at 11:59am. Our drinks were served right away. However, we did not see our waitress again. At 12:31pm, we decided we to leave otherwise we would be late to an appointment. We approached the counter to pay for our drinks. It was over $12 for 2 teas and a kids sweet tea. Are they kidding!? They take WAY too long and overpriced!
