The food here was absolutely amazing. The burger was incredibly tasty, and the steak and eggs were super good—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The French toast was delicious as well, easily one of the highlights. The place itself is small, but it feels very cozy and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

This place is great. It has about 10 tables so it is small intimate and perfect for a cozy french dinner. The food is wonderful. Everytime we have gone, everything we have gotten on the menu has been superb! You know a french resturant is good when you can reccomend the chicken. I highly reccomend the chicken at this little gem of a resturant!

I had such a great experience at La Petite Joie. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — cozy without feeling cramped, and perfect for either a relaxed dinner or brunch with friends.

The mussels were excellent — perfectly cooked and served in a flavorful broth that we couldn’t stop dipping bread into. The onion soup was amazing: rich, deeply savory, and topped with perfectly melted cheese. Exactly what you want from a classic French bistro.

The drinks were phenomenal, especially for brunch. Everything felt thoughtfully made and well-balanced.

Overall, the food, drinks, and ambiance all came together beautifully. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.I had such a great experience at La Petite Joie. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — cozy without feeling cramped, and perfect for either a relaxed dinner or brunch with friends.

La Petite Joie is such a great addition to Williamsburg. The atmosphere is warm, charming, and feels like a cozy neighborhood French bistro without trying too hard.

The food was phenomenal! The onion soup was rich and perfectly balanced, with beautifully melted cheese on top. The burger was outstanding — juicy, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best I’ve had in Brooklyn. The salad was also amazing — fresh, vibrant, and the perfect complement to the meal.

Between the quality of the food and the inviting ambiance, it’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to! Highly recommend!

Love this place!!! Their brunch is so good. Love the ambiance. The staff is so so sweet and welcoming. You can’t go wrong for brunch or dinner. Their onion soup is my favorite. If you go on Saturday or Sunday they offer the three tier tray and it’s so good. Definitely, one tray you can share with two people.

I had an incredible experience at La Petite Joie! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
Our server was the highlight of the meal—she was incredibly professional, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about the menu. We took several of her recommendations, and she was spot on with every single one. It’s rare to find service that is both this efficient and this warm.
As for the food, every dish was a winner:
• Eggs Benedicte with Smoked Salmon: Perfectly poached and fresh.
• Merguez Sandwich: Bold, flavorful, and a great twist on brunch.
• French Toast: Decadent and the perfect way to round out the meal.
• ElderFlower 75: Light, refreshing, and beautifully balanced.
Whether you’re looking for a great atmosphere or top-tier French-inspired cuisine in Brooklyn, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Food was definitely the highlight of our visit. The onion soup and escargot were both excellent, and the steak frites was solid. The beef bourguignon had great flavor, but it could have been served a bit hotter, as it seemed to cool down quickly.

Service was good overall. Our main server was pleasant, but the assistant waiter really stood out. He was friendly, attentive, and consistently on top of everything throughout the meal.

The space itself is cute and cozy, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. We were a group of three and shared two bottles of wine. The French Pinot Noir and the Côtes du Rhône were both very good and reasonably priced.

All in all, a very enjoyable evening and a place I would absolutely return to.

If you want to overpay for mediocre food this is the place for you. I came here for breakfast on Sunday morning and the place was not busy at all. I ordered the French toast, considering this was supposed to be a French cafe, and now what I got was more of a French bread syrup soup. The inside of the bread was still wet dough and there was no toasting whatsoever. I will not be going back
