This place is a Puebla staple. Don’t bother with other shots, just get the Pasita. Even as someone who doesn’t like raisins, this shot was still the best. The cheese is delicious, and the perfect complement. The service is friendly and accommodating as well.

Incredible little place! They make a selection of home distilled liquors of all sorts from the original “Pasita” (a bit like a fortified raisin wine) to flavours like coconut, mint, quince and 20 odd others. Truly unique.

Nice little place in the historic center of Puebla. It is pretty small and seats no more than 15 people. Friendly service and unique shot-sized, mostly sweet, drinks. La pasita, i. e., Raisin liquor with cheese and a raisin inside is the clear star. There is a limit on how much they’ll serve you per hour. No kitchen, but there is a small menu if items that they can whip up behind the bar.

Serious contender for best bar in the world (and I say that having been to bars in Germany, Brussels, Paris, Thailand, Japan, USA, Singapore, Belize and Amsterdam as well as other countries.
La Pasita is highly original and has a truly unique and colorful history spanning over 100 years.
If you are in Puebla this is the most essential place you must visit after the Cathedral.

Famous for their “Pasita” shot. Did not disappoint. Tried a variety of shots and all of them were delicious. Ended up buying a couple bottles to go. Super friendly owner who gave us the history of this family owned business.
