We loved it. We used Google maps to find it, and parking was easy. Once inside you enter into the bar area and immediately can see through to the busy kitchen. The smell of fresh baked bread and pizza overwhelm the senses. The ambiance is welcoming and warm. We noticed the sign that said “seat yourself,” and found a nice corner table in this packed restaurant at lunch time. Our server was very professional and courteous went through the various specials with us and was attentive to our needs.

The food is good and the pasta is fresh. The menu is small. I asked for chicken Alfredo which was not on the menu. They kindly said they could make that, I expected them to say no. The Alfredo was a little heavy in cream but still good. Service was quick and staff was friendly.

This is a great place to eat. It was packed when arrived. We had a drink at the bar and waited about 15 minute to be seated. The food was a really good and the staff definitely hustles.

We go to Pierre once a month to do clinic and we love to eat lunch at La Minestra. Great food . We’ve done that for more than 20 years . Unfortunately, this came to end this week! How did this happen ? I ordered the dish of the day “chicken with pasta “ The waitress did not say if it has bacon. I asked her politely to return it because I don’t eat pork . She brought it back and said it has prosciutto and I said quietly it’s pork . The sever who has waited on us before , never smiled , rushed , no eye contact and no courtesy. I usually tip 20% but this time I tipped 15% . As we left the restaurant the cook who is the owner was waiting for us outside . And without giving any explaining, he told us “you people are rude and I don’t want you back in my restaurant” .

Superb food! About the best Italian food I have ever had. The wait was worth it. I had the chicken parm. My table mates had various other dishes and they were equally amazing. Bursting with flavor. Portions were ample. Everything was made to order and from scratch. Highly recommend if you are in this area. Even the desserts were fabulous.

Had the Family Chicken Tortellini meal with ceaser salad and bread. Was Amazing !! plus do not pass on dessert, had the Cannoli and Pistachio Ganache cake !!! will be back !! thank you
