I got a cup of Esquites with the works and it was delicious! I loved that the staff asked me about the spices to make sure it was to my liking. I also got a Strawberry Agua Fresca and it was incredible, tasting fresh and it was on the creamy side so definitely ask with ice if you want less creamy. The ice cream is wonderful too! So many flavors to choose from. Today I got the Banana ice cream with chocolate drizzle and sprinkles. I have definitely tried some of the others and I am always happy with my choice. Greeted with smiles when you walk in, and always super helpful with any questions you have. And they don’t rush you to make a choice, again they make sure you are satisfied with their services and your treats. Happy to come back again!

*NUT ALLERGY WARNING* I’m really trying to be kind. The ice cream was…interesting. We tried many many kinds, and they were…”interesting”. Let’s just say that the ice creams we brought home we didn’t finish. The least bad was the Marzipan. We also didn’t finish our agua frecas. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The place is extremely clean, and organized. Be careful if you have nut allergies, there are nuts in several ice creams, and the scoops used are dipped in a bowl of water that stays there, that is used by all the other scoops. Not a big deal, just be careful of allergy issues. Maybe the ice cream just isn’t our style, maybe it could be yours…

I have gone to other Michoacáns, but by far the one in Avondale is the best one. I came in, and the employees greeted me with a smile. I came to get some esquites and they were really good. The corn had flavor, and it was delicious. I also got myself an agua fresca de Tamarindo, and it was on point. I will definitely be back. If I could give more stars, I would.

I got my kids a banana split and that was pretty spot on, but my tostilocos was so soggy and flavorless. The only thing that the employee added was valentina and half of a clamato bottle. You can tell they just opened this store. Hopefully it gets better because I love la Michoacana.

When my son,wife and I first arrived we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. The service was fast and the ice cream was delicious. They have really great prices considering how good their ice cream is. The only downside to this ice cream shop is that there wasn’t any tables to sit at and enjoy our ice cream. Other than that we had a good and delicious experience. I would recommend this location to treat your family to an ice cream or two.

Holy GOODNESS!!! This place is aaaaamazing!!! So many unique flavors of ice cream and popsicles, the fruit is fresh and juicy, the corn is sweet and buttery – what’s not to love?! Very friendly staff, quick service, and bright, clean environment! I will be a return customer and bring many friends and family here to try this out!

Do not order the banana split here for it is not your traditional banana split. The only toppings they put is chocolate, whipped cream, sprinkles and cherries. And the chocolate is not hot fudge…. it sucks
