I have been coming here forever. And berry road wawa started this same crap and I stopped going there. Now white plains Maryland wawa is losing me and others as well. The food is short changed now. You will not get your money’s worth. Asking for help is a big inconvenience to the workers. FYI not busy time. And two maybe three are leaning and playing on their phones. The coolers are empty. I can see all their stocked beverages in the back unopened boxes of drinks. So terrible now. I love wawa and know it’s not all. But now I must say goodbye to another. We all work to hard for our money to be treated as a problem and we should get our money worth when ordering food. Hope this helps my fellow workers and friends and anyone else to not get shafted by lazy personal.

The employees at this Wawa are always so kind and welcoming! Every visit, I’m greeted with a smile and great energy — it really makes a difference. The staff here work hard, keep the store clean, and always go out of their way to make sure customers are taken care of. It’s rare to see such consistently friendly service these days, and I truly appreciate it. Thank you for always brightening my mornings!

Went to this location… Wawa is starting to go downhill quick.
I usually do reviews everytime I go out whether its good or bad but have not in a long while.
This is the 2nd time in a week they have messed up my order or didn’t give me everything I ordered.
I placed an order on the app for a smoothie and a cheesesteak mac & cheese bowl.
I didn’t have a card saved so I paid for it when I got there and they’re supposed to make it after you pay for it. They made the smoothie when I ordered it. So half melted by the time I was able to pick it up and I they gave me someone’s doordash order with rice turkey and corn.
I also tried to call but noone was available to answer the phone so it rang until I got the message that noone was available to answer and it hung up

This is my favorite Wawa because it’s the closest one to my home. I can’t say that I’ve always gotten great service or great food, but it hasn’t been the worst. Until last night when I stopped in to grab a sandwich after a very long day at work. I ordered an oven roasted turkey sandwich on marble rye. I asked for bacon to be added as well as tomato and cucumber. The bacon was extremely cold and not well done at all just some flimsy cold bacon that she piled on the sandwich. Not to mention, the cucumber and tomato were not fresh!! After working all day all I wanted was a good Wawa sandwich and this was horrible!!!

Kristina – cashier was very unprofessional and needs additional training in attention to detail. I asked if she could break $100 before she opened the register, she replied yes. She rung up my $9.00 items and proceeded to start counting $5.00 bills. I told her I didn’t want $5s and $1s as my change and to give the $100 back. She then drops the $100 in there safe and says, I dropped it and we can’t open it. I told her I wanted my money back. She huffs and sighs and calls a manager. Ashley – manager was so apologetic and welcoming. She was very polite and professional. She asked if I could wait around for the register to get a few $20s. I told her I didn’t mind waiting because the stack of $5,$1s wouldn’t fit in my wallet. I truly thank Ashley for helping me out. Kristina, if you want to make it out of WAWA, check your attitude and take a few customer service courses.

I went in to get some food and ice coffee double chocolate chip. It was fine, but then it started to take longer than it should. She made a drink and was talking and having a great time. To only hear that she prioritized a friend/loved one over a paying customer. I don’t mind waiting, but I do think it is unfair to make a free drink over a paid one.

Quick easy, in and out, a little busy being right off the US route near an interchange ~ selection is decent.

Here’s a detailed review draft based on your experience:

Review of White Plains Wawa (across from CVS):
Incident Date: October 28th, 2024, 3:56 PM

I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by the treatment I received at this Wawa location. As someone who has often chosen Wawa for its service and convenience, my recent experience here left me feeling racially profiled, disrespected, and completely disregarded.

I entered the store around 3:56 PM to use the ATM, but it wasn’t working properly, and my money ended up stuck in the machine. When I asked for assistance, a young lady on staff attempted to help and brought over a manager named Timothy, a tall, pale-skinned man with grey hair and a slightly flamboyant demeanor. Unfortunately, Timothy’s attitude toward my situation was nothing short of condescending and dismissive.

As I explained my issue, Timothy immediately seemed annoyed. He turned up his face in various expressions, clearly uninterested in assisting me. Instead of addressing my concerns, he made a snide comment, saying, “Well, there’s nothing I can do about that,” and moved the “ATM not working” sign to the next machine without so much as an apology.

When I expressed my frustration and requested a refund, Timothy escalated the situation further—he called the cops on me. However, when a white customer entered the store right after me and had the same issue with the ATM, Timothy had no problem calmly explaining to him that the machine was out of service. This contrast in treatment was blatantly obvious and made me feel as though I was being singled out, profiled, and ultimately discriminated against.

To Timothy, the supposed face and representation of Wawa at this location, I feel compelled to say that this treatment is beyond unacceptable. Thankfully, the two ladies on shift that day were kind, understanding, and genuinely tried to assist me through the ordeal. I am grateful for their professionalism and compassion, which starkly contrasted Timothy’s behavior.

I expect that Wawa, as a company that prides itself on customer service, takes such incidents seriously and holds its staff accountable. Timothy’s treatment was not only unprofessional but felt like a targeted act of discrimination, which should not be tolerated by any business.

This experience has left a negative impact on me, and I hope Wawa management will address this situation to ensure that no one else has to feel the way I did.

Service was terrible. Had 4 people just standing around doing nothing behind the deli counter, yet it took 10 min to make my sandwich with no one else ahead of me. They all had bad attitudes and couldn’t even properly wrap my sandwich. Used to be a good store, but horrible now. Desperately in need of either new management or better workers. Highly disappointed, I’d recommend you go elsewhere or the laplata store, they’re way better.
