La Mera Mera left me with a mixed impression. While the experience was not extraordinary, it wasnt horrible either. The food, while okay, didn’t really stand out in a city with a plethora of Mexican restaurants. The flavors were decent, but lacking that wow factor. The service, too, was simply okay – not notably friendly or attentive, but not outright neglectful either.

Wow, best authentic homemade tacos ever! The tortillas are one layer and handmade, lower carb wise? The proteins, especially the shrimp was amazing with the sauce for it. Tortilla chips and homemade salsa was equally amazing. Salsa is perfect with a little heat and slightly fruity. Chef’s kiss!

Excellent tacos, especially the Gobernador. I’ve had shrimp tacos in Mexico and these almost match it. Get the elite tacos. Will definitely come here again. Very friendly staff and they give you three different sauces to choose from. Excellent excellent excellent!

What a gem! The food punches far above its price point (homemade tortillas!!!) and the servers are so nice. Bonus: The drinks are unique and delicious! The al pastor is incredible.

Uhhhhh YUMMMM really like that they had leaf icons for all the vegetarian items on the menu. Got the beyond meat, Chile poblano taco and rajas gordita no complaints here. We got the piña colada and La cachata which were both delicious. To end churros with ice cream. I’m stuffed with yummy foods. Definitely recommend.

This place is dope. I like the colorful menus and menu items in general. The taco Gobernador is my favorite. The taco de Chile Relleno is very yummy too. The horchata is one of the best I’ve tasted in the area. We had a group of 8 and had a good time!

Me and my daughter tried all the elite tacos on the menu, and oh boy, they did not disappoint! Best tacos I ever had! Plenty of things to choose from the menu on the next visit and the next. Friendly service and prices that are just right. In fact, it could be the best food for the money anywhere close by. Valueable addition to our well loved neighborhood. Great job and a great start!
