10/10 – Perfect Breakfast Spot! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had breakfast at La Madeleine – Eldridge Pkwy and it was absolutely amazing.

The food was very delicious and fresh. The bread was so fresh and soft, you can really taste the quality. Everything we ordered was full of flavor.

The place has a beautiful vintage French-style atmosphere. It feels warm, cozy, and very comfortable. You can sit, relax, and enjoy your time.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Highly recommend this location. We will definitely come back!

I was invited for breakfast at this location on Sunday, my first time there. The food was amazing and delicious so was the pastries, atmosphere was great too, took a long time to get the food we ordered as we checked in. I would go back for sure

Serving Paris vibes on a plate ✨ Smoked turkey that melts in your mouth, a crisp & zesty Caesar shrimp salad, the flakiest almond croissant, and a dreamy fruit tart straight out of a pastry shop in France And that strawberry hibiscus tea? Pure floral magic Bonus: service as warm as a fresh croissant! #FrenchCafeGoals #LaMadeleineLove

La Madeleine has the best patio view, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed morning. The coffee is rich and smooth, and the breakfast—especially the French toast, eggs, and sausage—is outstanding.

Unfortunately, I had a really terrible experience tonight with Brian. I believe he was the general manager and he handled the situation I am about to tell poorly.

We ordered a Strawberry Nutella crepe tonight and my brother did not like the cream inside. The crepe was also sitting on a drizzle of Nutella but we will get back to that later.

I went up to the counter to see if we could get the cream out and just comment that it seemed a bit misleading to call it a Strawberry Nutella crepe and there only be a drizzle at the bottom. Anyone else would expect a bit more Nutella from the name, you know? Of course, I understand it does not fall on them since they did not create the menu.

Anyways, the girl at the register called over Brian to help once I expressed my concern. Brian came over and I explained that my brother did not like the cream and that the name was a bit misleading. He said to me, “Well that’s how it is” and “read the ingredients”. His tone was very rude and his body language seemed like he didn’t want to hear it. I then suggested if he could take the cream out and he quickly said “I am not going to fill it with Nutella” even though I never asked for that, he assumed. I told him “I did not ask for you to do that, I just asked if you could take out the cream” and he responded with something along the lines of “yea, if you want a dry crepe.” At this point I am getting angry and I won’t lie I caught a bit of an attitude because he was talking to me as if I was stupid. I finally just ask for the money back.

He refunded the money and I got the courage to tell him that he was very rude and he could have handled it better. He said “I wasn’t being rude, we just had a miscommunication but I wasn’t being rude” and “I’m sorry YOU felt that way but I wasn’t being rude.” There was no miscommunication or misunderstanding, he was genuinely being rude and unprofessional from his tone, body language and remarks.

I truly feel bad that this place has someone like this as the manager. If he reacted like that to a customer, I can only imagine what his employees have to deal with.

I ordered a take out order of creamy pesto pasta for roughly $15, and I got a box of that looked like half-eaten already. The portion size is shamelessly small for the price you pay for it. The bread with pasta was very dry. Not sure what sort of high end French food experience this is !! Very frustrating!

The semi fast food format order and pick up at the counter makes for a quick meal, and some praise the bakery and coffee standouts.

There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space and the staff is nice and friendly. The food was ready fast enough, although they forgot the order of one of us. The food is just La Madelin food, I suppose; not a wow but not too bad either. I am not a big fan of their menu in general because of very limited options and the prices are a little on the expensive side, given the amount and quality of the food. However, my biggest negative comment about this particular location is the furniture there! The tables and chairs are well worn out and discolored with age and many tables are wobbly which makes it very hard to use. There was also a leak where we were initially sitting, so we had to change tables. I wish I could give them a four star at least, but I think three starts is pretty fair for the current condition of this restaurant.

I used to love coming to La Madeleine! It was good fast food but over the years, the quality of food has significantly downgraded. The portion sizes ridiculous as well. We stopped by for an hour lunch, it wasn’t very satisfying. Orders the 1/2 turkey bistro with a side of pasta salad and the full order of turkey & brie with a cup of tomato basil soup. Well our orders for switched. He got the turkey bistro and I got the turkey brie. Wasn’t a big deal but one of our sandwiches was supposed to be a full order but wasn’t. One of the sandwich was toasted really well and the other was just lifeless. And when the 2nd half came out, it looked depressing. It was super small in portion. Like all of our sandwiches shrank! Yah that was no bueno. I still like the tomato basil soup though. Always like to dip my sandwiches into it.
